Deposited some money via SECURED Visa credit card, played a few cash games, and now I am working on getting a cash out. If it works then I will be depositing on there again and continue playing on there. I figure it's safest to try to see if they are actually going to pay before I start putting in any long sessions. I know there are a lot of posts on here about cashouts for US customers, however, it's hard to sift through all the nonsense.

So I am going to make each post short and sweet hopefully so people can actually get an idea of whether making a deposit is worth it on Bodog. Anyway, I deposited on 5/25/11, played roughly 200 hands, made some bucks, and I just sent in my verification information. This included:

-Two printed documents from bodog.eu (one of these asked me to put my credit card under the paper and trace it with a pencil.)
-Copy of ID
-Copies of front and back of my credit card

I did all these by scanner and emailed them to verification@bodog.eu.

I plan to hear a response in roughly two weeks, from what I have read in previous posts.

Time to have patience and get drunk. Adios.
Received email within 10 hours of sending verification documents. (a lot faster than i expected.)
Bodog support wrote back stating that my account has been verified and I can cashout whenever I please to do so.

I will attempt cashout via check tomorrow. Expecting 14 days before my payout gets approved.

For all their other faults, you have to give it to bodog. Their payouts have been top-notch and quick recently.

Checks are pretty much the slowest theyve ever been right now. Not complaining just disagreeing with your assessment.

Yeah I haven't done a check for a few weeks, but they probably have an excess of check requests recently and just need to get through them. Didn't realized they'd slowed down to few weeks per request. The thing is usually if you have multiple check requests is the first one may take a few weeks, but then 1 will come per week like clockwork once you get rolling.

All other payout options (wire, WU) have been v quick lately from my experience and others in this thread.

youve not been around long. there was a period where checks took 1-2 months from request to in your hand.

I remember when I wouldn't touch Bodog with a 10ft pole b/c their check payouts were so unreliable, they have been very good sine I started playing there early 2010

When receiving a check by courier, do we have to be at the address to sign for them? Or will they just drop them off?

I know with other sites I've had to be there to sign for them.

Slowest in over two+ years then for me. Checks are coming in about 2-3 weeks right now. Still waiting on a May 12 but have an ETA of June 1 which would be about 3 weeks which is on par with what other posters have been posting here regarding their checks in the last couple weeks. Thats no problem for me just saying they havent been quicker lately IME thats all.

I'm using MyPaylinQ

I deposited no problem. Withdrew no problem. Only catch is you can't withdraw more than the total amount of your deposits the first 30 days you sign up. It is free reign once you get past those 30 days though. They seem to process withdrawal requests rather quickly as well.

If you have the patience to get the ball rolling and have no other method of deposit, I definitely recommend MyPaylinQ. You can get a Money Order which costs $5, or a MoneyGram/Western Union which costs $25.

Also they have the best customer service I have seen in quite sometime. Only downside is it's only available from 10am-10pm EST

Checks are being sent about a week after a request is submitted.

My last one was sent from Canada. The tracking number for the latest one shows it as coming from Asia (LOL). Times are tough.

Did you have to make a deposit via WU before you could cash out WU?

Yes but even if you do deposit via Western Union Bodog does not guarantee you can cash out that method. I am having to withdraw all funds from my account via check and then re-deposit via money transfer in order for them to allow me to use WU as a payout method. I dont mind too much though as long as the check they send me clears.

Nope. WU was actually the only option availible to me. I think this may have to do with the state I live in.
I take it WU is not availible to all?

Spoke with Bodog and they said they were well aware of the MyPaylinQ situation and that other methods of withdrawal are open to the players that funded their accounts via MyPaylinQ.

Had at least a 20 minute dialogue with Live Chat. Guy was very helpful and informative on my options.

I intend to go the MoneyGram or Western Union route. I think that is Rapid Transfer and Money Transfer. Anyone have opinions on this or experience? I just don't trust checks.

Western Union is Money Transfer correct? Have you used Rapid Transfer ever or just prefer WU?

I'm thinking of going back to Bodog. Which method is best for deposit and withdrawal: PayLineQ, Western Union, other? I am a US-based(IL.) player.

rapid transfer w/d fees are cheaper. Both are equally as fast. The fees suck but yeh, I don't trust checks either.
