This post actually just reminded me I have a bitpay card that got delivered in January that I've never opened. Just activated it. Are there any fees with it? I googled but it was pretty confusing to read about.

Thanks captain obvious. This is also a large thread and figured a simple question would get a better response with more updated info.

Besides the fees for withdrawing from ATM, nope. I use it as a debit card and get cash back anytime I go to any place that allows it. It's pretty much the nuts.

There are minimal fees. ATM fee + $2/$3 card fee for ATM withdrawals. If cash back from store (Walmart)/market PURCHASE- no fee.

Anyone having issues with bank wire recently?
Ignition around a month ago asked me to provide an alternative bank info as they are not able to use the current one(which I never had an issue with for a while) anymore, so I did as requested.
After that, I have bank wire withdrawals going back to 4/15 that have not arrived even though I received a message couple days later that the wire has been sent by a certain processor with the amount in Euros as well for the first withdrawal, but not the second one yet.

I received my check about 2 1/2 weeks after requesting. It was approved within about 48 hours though, so the shipping seems pretty slow.

Checks seem to be going pretty slow from what some people have posted. Anyone else experiencing the same problem?

for those of you who like to keep a larger bankroll in bitcoin (rather than spread out across multiple sites) - is blockchain with 2FA secure enough? is coinbase a better option?

So basically I'm super new to the whole bit coin thing however I have a couple of questions I need answered.

Deposited $50 into bovada for sports betting via coinbase-->bread Wallet-->deposit on bovada (scan QR code).

I pay like $3 average depositing and $5 withdrawing but w/e

Turned the $50 into $300 for a $250 profit, not much but I'll take it as I'm poor af, I withdraw from bovada for $300 and 8 hours later I have my $295 in my wallet. Or so I thought. This 0 confirmations thing has been going on since 7AM. Should I be worried our the Bitcoin universe just congested as bovada customer service tells me?

Pull the txid off blockchain and put it in viabtc's accelerator.

They only take 100 transactions an hour so you have to do it at x:00, but viabtc(a mining pool) will include it in their next block or two.

Someone processing these transactions is using a low fee.

My friend is trying to deposit but first needs to buy bitcoin.

I assume it's the same as withdrawing just in reverse?

1. But BTC on Coinbase using the bank account that's connected or buy via credit or debit card

2. Move that BTC to Blockchain

3. Deposit to Ignition from Blockchain

?

Or does he just buy the BTC on Blockchain DVD deposit straight from there?

Blockchain is a personal wallet for transferring/holding bitcoin. Coinbase is a financial exchange where bitcoin can be bought, sold, transferred, or exchanged for $$. Steps 1, 2, and 3 are correct.

Hey guys. So my blockchain won't let me send all of my funds. I have 1k in blockchain. And it will only let me send $600 of that to coinbase. It said use total available minus fee? i don't get it? So i sent $600 and now have $400 left that seems i can never have access to? Any advice i appreciate.

you have to pay a small fee to send bitcoin. so instead of sending 1k BTC you need to try sending $990 in bitcoin or something. im sure it will let you send more than 600 though that doesnt make sense.

Haven't ever withdrawn from Ignition. Went to do a check and they showed the fee as $75 with a strikethough but then have an asterisk saying this is an estimate. I don't want to get hit with any surprise fees. Is this free or not?

From what I've heard, the first check they wave the fee but I've only cashed out via BTC so I'm not 100% sure.
