It's a tough question to answer and I don't know of any good one size fits all response that will work. Each person will have to come up with something that fits them.
For most people answering with their actual job is easy... for professional players it's more difficult.
I don't know for sure that they'd close your account just because you said you were a professional poker player who wants to invest in bitcoin - but it seems risky.
I can say though that yes, if they know that bitcoin came from gambling they will close your account. So never tell them that or put it in a note field or anything.
If they closed your account they wouldn't take your money though. You would be able to withdraw the bitcoin and sell somewhere else, or withdraw the USD to your bank one last time.
