That debit card was like the worst cashout method ever. They charged you hidden ATM fees that ended up being about 15% of total balance. If I'm paying a 15% tip I at least want a blow job.

Like an exchange rate that ended up losing ~15% in 2 weeks? No, it was hidden. The "exchange rate" excuse does not even come close to explaining that garbage.

Not everybody got screwed on the exchange rate. Most people ITT paid only 4-5% on the conversion.

Also, if you lost $$ over time because the dollar gained on whatever currency the card was held in, that is your fault. It was made very clear to you that the funds were held in non-USD currency, and you should've realized that you need to cashout the card immediately to avoid the inevitable fluctuation in exchange rates.

Hey guys,

Just wanted to give you an update on my situation. I deposited 50 on bodog last night and ran it up to 200. I cashed out 75 and after sending them CC info and photo IDs my check has been processed. Their support team was very good and very fast. They said my check will here within 7 days. I will let you guys know when it clears. If this works successfully, I will make a larger deposit and that will be my new site i guess

Let me know if you have any questions!

I'm supposed to receive my check via courier from Bodog tomorrow (Monday), but I'm uncertain about cashing it. The last time I attempted to cash a Bodog check (4/8/11) it bounced a week later after initially being cleared by my bank. It seems from this thread that most people have been using Western Union wire transfers. Is this because others have been having similar troubles with checks? I'd appreciate anyone who can tell me if they've either successfully or unsuccessfully deposited a Bodog check within the last month. Also, does the bank or credit union you choose to cash/deposit a Bodog check through make any difference in the likelihood of the check bouncing? Thanks!

5/8 - western union payout approved

5/12 - asked for copy of license and list of questions(maritial status/employment/country of residence) literally 5th time in 8 years sending in license.

5/15 - nothing, not even verified

I deposited a check a week ago from friday.. if I wake up tomorrow and see on my online bank statement a returned check and all the fees caused by it, I will cry. Please tell me you're in New York or one of the other states unique to this problem.

I got a check in late March and had it sit around for a month before depositing it after black friday and it went through fine. I obviously shouldn't have waited that long to deposit it but oh well

I'm from Minnesota. It looks like other people have been depositing checks alright though, hopefully it was just a fluke.

Could someone describe the money transfer or rapid transfer payout option in detail? I don't understand how these things work. Is it a reliable form of cashing out? I am leaving the country in two weeks and would like to take care of a cashout before then. What are the odds I could make that happen with one of these options? I just got a check from them, but it took around 3 weeks.

Also, the check I just received was from a processor in Singapore. I have received a lot of checks from Bodog, but only one of them was from this processor and that was the only one that's ever bounced. What are the odds that check will bounce? I'll be pretty ****ed when I'm out of the country if that check bounces.

mj: I requested a wire about two and a half weeks ago. About 6 business days later I received it, and knock on wood, I haven't had problems with it. I just requested another one. It was simple, hopefully there are no problems I'm unaware of.

ya , i have been emailing them since Monday morning trying to get my account available to request a wire. I already had all the info from my bank from the first email and have yet to been approved. They have emailed me back 3/4 times saying they are forwarding it to the appropriate department etc and they will be in touch with me. No progress yet on something that seem like it should be simple enough since I have gave them all the necessary info from the start.

If Bodog Rep reads this please PM so I/We can get this handled. Tx
