I requested a payout on 04/15 via check by courier. It was approved the following day. I received the check yesterday and deposited it in my bank's ATM. I will update if/when it clears/bounces.

Getting the Debit Card was a no brainer for me. As an American adding any new easy cashout method is a good idea. Especially a debit card. It could be used when checks were bouncing around. It gave you another window to get your cash. Money got to the card faster than checks as well. Im sure many people were thinking along those lines.

just want to post I just received an email with a tracking number for my check payout approved 4-26. I feel a little silly for starting to panic a little, just not use to it taking that long I guess. Barring any bouncing of the check, I have to hand it to Bodog for coming through with a payout in a timely manner during a hectic time.
Also excited about the increasing size of the tourney fields.

Wish I would've gotten a tracking number- I, too, had a payout approved 4/26 and have heard nothing. I've been asking CS what's up, because I've NEVER had such a delay, but they keep saying "please be patient." The only reasoning I've been given is "there was a banking holiday." It's getting a little annoying.

one is western union and one is moneygram
choose the one closest to you, they'll pay the fees if it's over a certain amount

How do you get this debit card people are talking about? Is it only reserved for the highest rollers or vip or something because I don't see anything about it on my account or the bodog website. (And I've been a longtime member.)

Is it reasonable to expect a wire transfer in < 7 days?
What kind of fees do most banks charge?

I clicked on the payout button last night and it said something to the extent of You do not have any payout options available. I called customer support and they said something like "Due to change in US legislation we are unable to process your payout blah blah blah.... We'll have someone call you back when we find a payout option for you". More Info: My payout request was less that 1k. My payout DID work last month. The check came within days and did not bounce.

Has anyone in the US requested a payout within the last day or two??

That doesn't sound good... fwiw, I had a payout like 3-4 days ago and it was approved. I am from US. Also, not sure if it matters but I just checked my payout options and they are still the same.

I received an email from Bodog regarding my payout options being disabled. It's possible that my payout options were only temporarily disabled due to problems, but when the customer support operator mentioned US legislation changes I was like "Uh oh..." The email is below:

We are contacting you in regards to your account balance, kindly note that we have enabled the payout options in your account, thus feel free to make your payout request at your earliest convenience.

Should you require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Best Regards,
Customer Service

Are there any Bodog employees and/or representatives that are active on the Two Plus Two forums? I am having a horrible time with the sportsbook. Thanks.

Last night I got this response via email about the debit card:

"With regards to your Global ePay Card, we will be forwarding your information to the appropriate department to do an investigation. Once we have already confirmed your total balance in your card, we will credit the money back to your Bodog account. Kindly wait for the response within the next 24 - 48 hours. Your understanding to this matter is much appreciated."

So we will see if I get an email back within 48 hours with money put back into my account.

Also, anyone do a money transfer recently? Its only been a day and half but I have never had it take more than a few hours to get my pick up details.

Hey guys i'm from NY and right now they only have 2 methods of payout. ONe is mg and one is WU. However, the fees are huge. Its 7.5 percent at the lowest and thats if you withdraw between 1000-2000. If you withdraw smaller amounts like $100 though that doesn't apply for me... it cost $20. Thats 20 percent to withdraw!

I dont' have any intention of withdrawing soon but do you guys say as time goes by, people in NY will be able to get the check withdraw method soon? I noticed this happened last 1 week ago and before that, i always had the check option.

Looks like they're getting closer to resolving the debit card situation...

I had the full amount of my last withdrawal credited back to my bodog account yesterday, but then almost immediately retracted when they realized they got the amount wrong (I had made an ATM withdrawal before it all went to hell).

thinking of depositing but i see these huge fees on western union. they want a 150 dollar fee for a 1000 cashout. it is insane. why did this happen to NYers?
