Hi all,

I'd like to know if Bitcoin is the only option for US players to cash out from Ignition poker network. If it is could someone please explain how it works. I don't even have a bitcoin account at this time

Thanks

Just google like bitcoin tutorial and best bitcoin well on Reddit or any other forum or even YouTube. Get breadwallet or a similar wallet that is your own personal wallet and go from there.

Wow that's fast! I req mine this morning as well but it's been 5 hours. Is there a reason why yours is processed now and mine hasn't been?

Yes I was thinking about getting a bitpay card. So if my funds get sent to bitpay the phone app, then do I transfer it to the card once it gets to the bitpay wallet or does the card connect to my bitpay wallet.

bitpay card is awesome in my experience. i can't speak about any apps, i dont use them. i use their site: https://bitpay.com/visa

when u withdraw from ignition, u will have the funds sent to your general bitcoin wallet (U NEED THIS), like blockchain.info or other, then u will send the funds from there to your bitpay card. really simple.

Req 10/31
Rec ??
Amount: $2000 BTC

Also, when i'm in the cashout screen this is at the bottom
"To avoid delays, always provide a unique address from your personal Bitcoin wallet for each withdrawal."

What exactly does this mean? I use coinbase so does this mean I have to make a new wallet address for every withdrawal?

Hello Xxxxxxx,

Your account has been temporarily disabled as it has come to our attention that there are other accounts using information similar to yours.

Has anyone ever gotten anything like this before ? I am pretty sure I don't have another ignition account.. wtf. This happened while trying to make a withdrawal.

BRO

u gotta use a bitcoin wallet in between ignition and coinbase/circle/etc.

u will get your accounts closed eventually otherwise

watch the videos i posted a link for a few posts up

your bitcoin wallet (like blockchain.info for example) will provide u with a brand new address to withdraw to for every WD.

It's all just a single account. Simply fund your account through Blockchain, or some other wallet, and then you can access those funds via the card.

You can use it like any other Visa card or withdraw via the ATM. There is a $2 ATM fee that BitPay applies however a lot of ATMs will also charge you an additional $3. Alternatively many stores allow you to get cash back with no fees.

Here's a photo as proof that it can be used at an ATM:

Just requested my first btc withdrawal. When cashing out from Circle is there any reason to cash out to a bank account rather than a debit card? My debit is linked to my bank account anyways, so shouldn't it be the same thing?

Can anyone tell me if there is usually a small fee when tranferring from ignition to blockchain? I was under the impression there is no fee however the money that arrived to my blockchain wallet was .5% short. Still not bad but was just under the impression there was no fee during this process. Thanks

They are worried you have multiple accounts. Talk to support and they will want you to send a government id and a utility bill to verify your identity. It'll take about a week for them to unlock your account.

There is a very small miners fee (pennies) which ignition will pay.

Two possibilities

- You lost money from the price fluctuation of bitcoin itself
- The exchange rate that ignition uses is different from the one that blockchain is using.

Thanks nimbus. I'm pretty new to btc so I wasn't sure but both those make sense. I wasn't aware of how often the value of btc fluctuates but I can see that now after owning some. Cheers.

I know I had a bovada account many years ago. Do you think that could have anything to do with it?

I use a wallet. The one I use is called Jaxx. There are a bunch of really nice wallets out there. I also have some coin on a paper wallet I made with bitaddress.org.

Why would anyone from the 47/50 US states use anything other than Bitcoin these days?
