Some wallets have a static "default" address you can use over and over again. For example, if you had business and wanted to list a bitcoin address on your web page where people could pay you, then on your webpage you could list this static default address and not have to keep changing the address on your webpage everytime someone sent your coins. So static default addresses have their benefits. But in most cases and for more security and privacy it is better to generate a new address each time. Bonition requires a new address each time. In Exodus when on the RECEIVE PAGE that lists the address to use to receive coins, just click the RIGHT ARROW button and it will create a new address. And the next time you use the receive page on Exodus it will probably take you back to your static default address, so you'll need to click the right arrow button and generate a new address each time.
