How long do player to player transfers normally take? I had a friend buy some Ignition from me. I sent the morning of 9/20 and it's still pending under review.

Those fees have nothing to do with coinbase. They are what is called "gas" or with bitcoin "miner fees"to put the transaction through and you would pay them regardless of what wallet you use. If you withdrawing directly to an exchange that is a big no no though.

I know exactly the fees are, and no, I never suggested withdrawing directly to an exchange. Coinbase Pro used to wave said fees when converting to fiat and withdrawing to a bank, it was one of the major reasons to use CB at all.

But now, just like every other option, the cost is placed on the user.

Is Kraken a good alternative to coinbase pro. I'm thinking of withdrawing using: bovada - blockchain- kraken

Also why do they list bitcoin as XBT?

My deposit from blockchain to B hasn't posted yet after 10+ hours. It is listed as pending with 0/3 confirmations. Is this on Bov's end or something on blockchain that happens sometimes with btc.

It can take a long time if you chose to pay a low transfer fee.

What does a long time mean? I've never waited more than a couple hours doing the exact same thing. Do I have any options other than to just wait? Bovada chat said they saw it was pending and I should just wait. I want to get some dumb CFB and NFL parlays going for the weekend.

If you picked an extremely low fee it could take days. I did it once and it took 3 days. It was just returned to my bitcoin wallet, because the blockchain wouldn't mine it.

For future reference, where do I find the option to change the fee amount on the blockchain site?

PSA

Dated October 1 2020, through the blockchain website support:

You may notice that your bitcoin and bitcoin cash addresses change every time you receive funds. Your ethereum address will not change.

Our wallet is built on an HD (heirarchal deterministic) framework, a privacy-centered method for address generation and management. Each public bitcoin/bitcoin cash address your wallet generates stems from your wallet’s xPub (Extended Public Key). Once a public address receives an incoming payment, a new address will automatically be generated and display when you click Request.

While previously used bitcoin and bitcoin cash addresses remain valid and can always be used to receive funds multiple times, if you use the same address each time you receive funds, it becomes easy for anyone to track your entire payment history. This method of address generation improves privacy by automatically presenting you with a new address when you’re expecting a new payment.

Cheers

Hey! Can you recommend a major affiliate to play in Bodog? (Latin America)

Just posting an ignition payout update:

1. I have two payouts that occured after winning $3,000 at Blackjack and Poker

2. The second payout was last Sunday after a big blackjack win. I requested payout in BTC. It was in my wallet in an hour. I deposited it into another poker site within 20 minutes.

Short answer. I've won $3,000 from Ignition. Each time, the payout was quick and I confirm that I actually received the money.

The trick is to stay away from Blackjack and concentrate on poker.

Is anyone else having trouble receiving withdrawal verification/confirmation texts today?

Hi guys, I really screwed up this morning. This is very uncharacteristic of me, but these type of things are starting to happen more and more as I get older. I made a BTC transfer from CB straight to Bovada, without using Exodus. I have never done this before.

I have five figures on CB, should I immediately withdraw all my funds to my US bank account? Have any of you guys done this before? Again, this is the first time I have ever done anything like this. Looking forward to hearing your advice/thoughts.

I don't know much about nothing but I do know that I cant get any money out of Ignition Poker at this time. I have tried all methods of cashing out and they have blocked it. I don't know if it's a temporary glitch or intentional. I have tried cashing out to bitcoin, wire transfer and courier check. Aside from a player transfer or voucher (neither of which is cashing out) these are the only options. All tries end with a error box asking for a code which is supposed to be sent to my phone. No code ever comes. The resend code button does nothing. I am not stupid and I am not making this up. I simply want to cash out some of my winnings. Does anybody know anything about this? Has anybody cashed out lately? I have seen some other blogs mentioning similar problems but they are at least 6 months old. Must have been isolated incidents at that time since a major problem with the site you would think would draw a lot of attention and uproar from the poker community and I have not heard anything. Any feed back is appreciated.

So when did Blockchain fees go from $0.03 to $15? WTF! that is quite the high jump!

Anybody know of a cheaper Bitcoin wallet site?

I might as well just stick to Visa with their 5.9% fee then pay this $15 fee.

I somewhat knew this and screwed up. About 15 hours ago I started a deposit for BTC but put the lowest priority on the transaction and the transaction still hasn't gone through. Just now I deposited more money with the highest priority. Will the wallet address change in between when my deposits actually get there? Does anyone have any recommendations on what to do?

Edit: They are being sent to different wallet addresses. Each of which Bovada gave me at the time.

I noticed it a couple weeks ago. Look for a recommendation for something other than blockchain as well.

I don't remember how much the fee was I just remember noticing it, because it stood out as something bigger than I've noticed before.

I've done this before, it doesn't seem to be that big a deal but I stopped doing it because people ITT say it's bad. I doubt anything come of it though.
