Was going to put some money on ignition but for some reason they will only let me use a card to deposit and check to cash out. What are the fees for cashing out with check and how often can you do it?

Just received a BTC payout from Ignition. Right around 20 hours from when requested.

You might as well save a little time and contact support to get you setup with bitcoin. It's likely that you will get jerked around with check/wire, and will eventually be pointed to bitcoin anyways.

Call them and select an option for bitcoin/blockchain "expert". FWIW, more often than not, first line support is deliberately useless. Its primary function is to filter out. To expedite, just say you ain't depositing no monies unless they activate BTC as an option on your account.

Talked to them on chat again to get the number. I guess all i need to do is make a deposit with a card then i will be able to use bitcoin after that. My bitpay card was declined going to try a normal card later today.

Finally got money from sfox to my bank. Requested through sfox 11/16, received 1/11. I guess I'll go the coinbase route next time.

Ok now I can post a full review of check by courier. My $6K withdraw request was processed quickly~2 days. This is where I felt like I was in limbo for a while. The check processing takes 10-15 days for every $3,000. If you cashout over $3K then it will come in increments of $3K checks every 3 weeks or so. I was notified by the courier a few days prior to delivery.

I was nervous about my bank accepting a foreign check. I had opened an account at a national well known banking chain. I spoke to the bank associate and she said it will have a 2 day hold on it which is standard. I can say the funds have cleared within the 2 days and I'm overall happy with the process. For those that don't mind waiting it is a safe method to withdraw funds.

Just a heads up the 2 day thing is just for your bank allowing clearance for you to have access to the money, they can still bounce a month later. This was a big problem with bodog checks in the early 2010s. Bodog has always been could at refunding fees and what not, but don't spend the money just yet if you can't afford to reimburse the bank in the short term.

can someone refer me to a post (or just answer) a couple questions regarding btc cashouts/deposits?

does circle no longer process/work with the site? do you still need a blockchain.nfo/com acct to use between whatever wallet you choose?

what is the best/cheapest/safest wallet people are using now, coinbase or bitpay? thanks in advance.

Last two BTC cashouts (both recent and for large amounts) arrived very quickly -- ranging from 24 to 48 hours later.

I also ran bad and had BTC crash just hours after receiving it.

But at least the payouts are quick and reliable. Honestly that's always been the best aspect of this site.

Circle no longer works. A buffer/personal wallet- Blockchain/Mycelium/Electrum are popular- is recommended between gambling site and exchange (Coinbase) or Visa Bitpay card. Mycelium and Electrum are wallets that can transfer funds to Visa Bitpay card. Blockchain does not have the 'protocols' to do that.

Can you go: Ignition ---> Blockchain ---> Circle ---> Bank?

Hi all, thinking about joining Ignition to play from WA. Would have to use bitcoin for obvious reasons, but I have never invested in any cryptocurrency and have no idea how to proceed; it all seems very intimidating. Would anybody mind posting a quick, step by step set of instructions for doing so, and similarly for cashing out? Including naming actual wallet sites or whatever that are known to be reputable, etc? I tried surfing some posts but this is a big thread, and I hear people saying stuff like "...I tried to cash out but SFOX is a scam..." and I have no idea what is being talked about or how to avoid a similar pitfall.

Thanks in advance if anybody feels like being a pal.

I meant to ask this in my op, but last time i logged into bitpay i had an issue of them asking to verify a business or something. like what business it was being used for, business location, etc. is that standard? or was i doing something wrong? And are mycelium and Electrum the same thing as coinbase? any reason to use one of those over the others?

You obviously signed up for a Visa Bitpay "business" debit card instead of a "personal" debit card. Mycelium and Electrum are personal/buffer wallets like Blockchain. Coinbase is a financial exchange. Mycelium is used in phones while Electrum is for personal computers.

There are YouTube videos of the Bovada/Ignition Bitcoin deposit/withdrawal method. Just substitute Coinbase for Circle where applicable. You could also search this thread for EndTheFed's bitcoin posts. The number of people his posts have helped is endless.
