So I set up my coinbase account, have an electrum wallet, and purchased some btc.

But now even though my account reflects I have some btc, it’s in holding (for 6 days?), so I can’t send it to my wallet.

In the meantime I’m subject to the declining crypto market for 6 days? Is there a better way?

Is it a cash hold fund? Should I have funded USD and sat on it for 6 days?

For me I just go coinbase then send to block chain and deposit on ignition. Takes 20 or minutes or so for me usually. Reverse on withdrawals usually done in 8 hours or so.

Be 48 hours but not approved yet...does it typically take the 48 hours or does Bovada observe Memorial Day lmao

I did mine VERY early Monday morning and it hasn't gone through yet so I'm thinking that yes they may have not been processing things yesterday as it normally takes 12-14 hours. I'm sure it will go through today.

I went to sell from Coinbase to my US bank checking account as I've done before after going from Ignition->Blockchain->Coinbase, but US Bank doesn't show up as an option as it did before. I checked my linked accounts and it's still there. What gives?

Approved and sent to my wallet at 11pm last night. All in all took 36 hours and was totally painless

CB says it takes up to 3 business days but I've never had it take > 1 day. Always been there the next business morning.

I am at about 58 hours now for a bitcoin cash withdraw. Did a customer service chat to make sure it was not stuck or something and lets face it, the customer service at bovada is only allowed to give non specific answers that do not help at all.

As nobody is more vocal than me when a company is doing someone (or me) wrong, I certainly agree with reporting these kinds of problems on the 2+2 forums. That said, when (if) you finally receive(d) your money, it would be fair to come and update the thread stating such.

In further fairness to Bovada: Now that I see exactly how this works, they very well may have sent this to you some time ago and the hold up isn't on their end. Of course, I don't know if this was the case but thus far I've found Bovada/Ignition to be the easiest and fastest site to withdraw from.

Do you guys prefer Bovada or Ignition, or are they exactly the same?

They are the same afaik, except maybe for different deposit bonuses.

Btc withdraw: received less than 24 hrs after request.

Send from blockchain to coinbase and had usd in my bank account within 24 hours.

All together less than 72 hours total from cash out request to usd in my account. Pretty damn impressed

I requested a withdrawal via check on 6/4, was "pending" for over 60 hours. I emailed them and got a response "due to ongoing challenges with certain financial institutions, we are unable to process check requests. You can only request Bitcoin or Bitcoin cash.".

I have never dealt with Bitcoin and have no clue how to proceed. Can anyone help a Newbie out and let me what I need to do?? From reading the last couple pages it looks like I need to send from Bovada to Blockchain to Coinbase to my bank. Is this still accurate? How do I setup accounts on blockchain and coinbase? Anything else I need to know?

Anything wrong with leaving about $500 BTC in a Blockchain account?

You are susceptible to ups and downs of bitcoin, otherwise, I don't see any problem with it. I assume you have your phrases saved somewhere etc etc?

Yeah, my info is all saved. Thanks for confirming this. I just don't know exactly where I'm sending it yet and I've never kept more than $50 or so in that account before.
