Hi Everyone,

I have seen several posts from different users about coinbase or an exchange identifying a transaction as gambling related despite the use of blockchain in between. Do you think it would be advisable to learn how to use a mixing service or is that probably unnecessary?
In the past I have used blockchain in between with no issue but want to keep up if something has changed. Thanks

Speaking of this I just got a notice from coinbase saying my account is being closed due to prohibited uses in violation of our TOS. I have had this account for 4ish years and have always used blockchain as an in betweeen. So it can happen even if youre careful. Does anybody have any experience with Kraken or Gemini. Im in the US and these seem to be the 2 best options. Just looking to get money from bank account via ACH so I can then transfer to bitcoin and vice versa. I was using GDAX and coinbase which were feeless but it appears Gemini and Kraken do charge fees. Anybody have any advice? I know there was stuff posted on here but I cant seem to find anything recent.

I'm not a bitcoin fan, so I requested a check on 4/30. It hasn't been 10 days yet, but should I be concerned about being able to deposit it at a US bank?

I’ve read about people having problems depositing in banks in the past. Just go to a check cashing place, I imagine.

As for the bitcoin piece, I think most of us aren’t bitcoin fans, but that is the most convenient and fastest way for you to get your money. Recommend just giving into it and establish a bitcoin account. You won’t regret it.

The last thing you want to do is go to a "check cashing place". If you get a check you need to take it to a major bank and if the check is from the north you can put through the atm, if its from somewhere else then you need to deposit it directly through a teller. I now use bitcoin for obv reasons but i never had a problem depositing a check. After the free one they give why would you wanna pay 75 bucks a pop after?

Been 2 weeks now and still nothing. When I email I get the standard ‘all requests are reviewed in order and time may be extended due to high volume’ I emailed them saying people on twoplustwo are getting their withdrawals in two days so that’s clearly not the case.

I have 6 figures in my account so it’s pretty annoying, I kind of feel they’re waiting for to me go full blown degen (30k profit from blackjack, rest poker) and they wouldn’t have found anything wrong with my play. Is there a phone number I can call or anyway I can speed this process up? Can anyone offer any advice here or am I just at their mercy until they process it?

Yes def call them. *1 (855) 370-0600‬. Also being very polite has always gotten me the furthest with Ignition support. Make sure you politely ask to speak with a supervisor about your case and let them know that 2 weeks is unacceptable. And if you don’t get anywhere on that call I would hang up and call back. And call every day there after until your case is resolved and you begin receiving payment.

My bank will hold a out of country check for 30 days before depositing. So if I don't want to wait I take the check to Wal-Mart. I have never had problem doing this. I think they charge $3 to cash the check.

Made my first cash out to Electrum this morning. I clicked receive, copied the address and then used that same address to withdrawal from the poker site. Am I supposed to do anything other than wait for the Bitcoin to hit my Electrum account? I feel like I am missing a step somewhere. Thank you in advance.

I have read about this multiple times on this site, about CoinBase locking up people’s accounts when they withdraw from a Bovada/Ignition.

I recently read on Bovada’s Bitcoin FAQ page, they recommend a few different wallets to use. Do you think those wallets would be best to use to avoid getting an account closer or locked?

iOS: Bread
Android: Mycelium
Desktop: Electrum

Hello, a friend of mine from the USA is having problems with coinbase as bitcoin is public.

I have suggested him a way to defeat coinbase using this method

poker (BCH)>binance>monero>bitfinex>bch>coinbase>BANK

Would that fully work?

How do you get 6 figures in your account? Isn't there a limit on how much Bovada will let you deposit at one time? Six figures is a LOT to be keeping in an offshore account!

He could have just won the 6 figures. Also $100k+ may be “a LOT” to you but isn’t to plenty of people.

Here we go!

Made a deposit on Bovada a few weeks ago.... turned $550 into just over $4000 and went to cash out some and just like everybody else is complaining on EVERY forum... I've had to jump through a bunch of hoops. After hitting the cash out button 48 hours went by, nothing... Had to call

After call they disable my account to "verify my info"...no prob I send it right over

48 hourse goes by ...no call... after I call they say they need more?? no prob send it right over

48 hours....I call to follow up... They say "THERE IS ANOTHER ACCOUNT WITH THE SAME LAST NAME AND THEY ARE DOING AN INVESTIGATION"... they ask me all kinds of questions about me and my bets... No Prob.... they ask if I know anybody that with the same last name who might have a Bovada account... they ask about my Dad...(who is 60 and barely knows how to use the internet...and lives accross the country from me) still no problem...

I ask them if they have an account with my father...or if someone was trying to use my identity... they say no the person with the similar account isnt that old... and that it is an inactive account from 3 years ago???

They then proceed to tell me that "we believe that you are you and making these bets"

WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO DO... you have my social, front and back of debit and license, proof of address??
Nobody I know...especially with my last name has an account with Bovada.

NOW MY MONEY IS BEING HELD HOSTAGE

I WISH I READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS BEFORE DEPOSITING

for everybody who is going to ask the following (which is what I have been reading)

- I only have one account...EVER... on ANY SITE... and its bovada
-no bonus abuse....I deposited ONE TIME.... and BET ENOUGH ON SPORTS ONLY TO UNLOCK ROLLOVER (no slots or any bs bonus loopholes)
-I live by myself with my fiance, who does not have an account... and the account is only logged into while I am home (from my open IP address)
-AFTER answering ALL of their questions and ALL of their documents sent... "Tony" specifically told me that he does infact, know that I am the one in charge of MY account (duhh)

WHAT I KNOW: Bovada is going to delay this process EVEN more, with back and forth BS... any help with this would be much appreciated

- I was SO CLOSE TO WRITING A POSITIVE REVIEW TO ALL OF THE NAY SAYERS BUT IT SEEMS AS THOUGH THEY ARE CORRECT
-If this gets resolved I will be more than happy to rectify this post... but honestly I'm being treated like trash

Thanks!

Well I really appreciate you assuming that I've done something wrong here

I have 100% identified myself

Do they think I changed my name from the opposite after making a Bovada account?

Im so confused... If there was an account with the Same name this would make much more sense to me

Hey havent cashed out in a while via bitcoin. Is it still the same? You go ignition to blockchain to circle?

Circle stopped receiving bitcoin ~18 months ago. Coinbase is now the choice of many. Visa Bitpay Card is rising in popularity. To use that, you have to purchase the card for $9.95 in bitcoin. Takes about a week to arrive. However, blockchain can't be used to transfer to card. Electrum and Mycelium are favored wallets for transferring to card. Card can be used the same as any debit card.

Does anyone have experience with cashing out bitcoin to your bank account with GDAX? I use blockchain to receive from Ignition, then I send it somewhere else to get into my bank account. Are you guys getting your GDAX accounts shut down for this? I use Gemini currently, but they have just started charging 1% to sell your BTC to USD so I need somewhere else to go to get money to my bank account.

I don't do bitcoin and requested a check. Requested on 4/30, sent by fedex on 5/17. Check from Canadian company. Cleared my US bank without any issues in 2 days.
