I have been having major problems with my withdrawals going back to November. For some reason, the cashier has not been accepting my mother's maiden name. Support has had me try different browsers, different computers, and even changing my mother's maiden name to something else as well as confirming that I am capitalizing the letters properly and what not. The end result is that I am never able to initiate a bitcoin withdrawal through the cashier. Instead, I have to make a phone call to support letting them know that I am making a withdrawal and then send an email with my bitcoin address and amount. When it works properly, this turns a less than 24 hour bitcoin withdrawal process into a 3-4 day process. When it does not work properly, I have to wait a few days and make a few calls to support only to find that the withdrawals team never received my information. I then have to start the process over again and wait 3-4 more days to hopefully receive my withdrawal.
Additionally, I was "hacked" in late December. Someone made a max withdrawal request using a gmail version (I do not use gmail) of my email address. For example, if your email were
john184@aol.com, the hacker simply created a
john1984@gmail.com address. The hacker made the bitcoin withdrawal request by email claiming the same problem that I have been having... that the client was not accepting my mother's maiden name and that phone support had asked him to request the bitcoin withdrawal by email. He almost succeeded... fortunately I noticed the message from the withdrawals team confirming my max withdrawal and was able to call phone support and stop the withdrawal. The customer service rep read the email that the hacker had sent to me and it was simply a rewording of the typical emails I had sent. But here is the thing... I have shown no other signs of being hacked other than this bogus bitcoin withdrawal. My theory is that someone in support who had been processing my withdrawal emails either attempted to make a bogus withdrawal on their own or had a friend do so.
Back to today... I am now at 5+ days since my last bitcoin withdrawal request by email (since again... I cannot use the cashier due to the mother's maiden name glitch). I knew that this withdrawal was having problems because I only received a reply from customer service telling me that they had forwarded my request to the withdrawals team. But I never received the usual email from the withdrawals team. 4 days ago, 2 days ago, and today I have called phone support letting them know that something was wrong. In all cases, they have told me over and over that everything is fine and to wait another 48 hours. They have also repeatedly lied, for example by "confirming" that the withdrawals team does indeed have the information. Today, I asked to speak to a supervisor. He was giving me the same story, but did manage to contact the withdrawals team. 30 minutes into the phone call, he confirms my suspicion that the withdrawals team never received my request. I had been being lied to. He then asks me to submit another withdrawal request and start the whole process over. I explain that I have to make my requests by email and go through a very long process to make a bitcoin withdrawal. He says he will submit the withdrawal request himself to make sure it goes through using the information from my email. Hopefully this works, but I strongly suspect that I am going to continue experiencing problems with this withdrawal request.
In the past, I have asked if I can simply start a new Ignition account since they seem unable to fix the mother's maiden name glitch for me. They have told me that I cannot. They also have told me that there is no way for them to fix the problem and that I must simply keep making my withdrawal requests by email which often does not work very well.
Between the software and disconnect issues over the last year, the attempted hacking, my inability to withdraw normally, and the recent changes that have made it very difficult to play LHE on Ignition, I may be completely done with Ignition despite the good games. Very frustrating
