Impossible. Bovada won't let you deposit or cash out from an exchange like Blockchain or Coinbase.

You have to send it to your wallet first and than to the exchange.

At least that's how customer support told me to do it, they said they don't accept directly from or to the exchanges. Has to go through your wallet so they can jew you on (more) fees, naturally.

Many folks have Blockchain as a personal wallet. I'm one of them. It's not an exchange. It's a buffer between the exchanges and gambling sites. See YouTube Bovada/Ignition deposit/cash out videos.

The fee I saw was 2%. How does that compare to the fees that I need to convert it into USD into my bank account?

On a side note, maybe a MOD could sticky some of these basic Q&As in the OP. Or is there a thread dedicated entirely to bitcoin?

My withdrawal processed six hours ago and still hasn't hit my blockchain. This is the very first time it was not instantly in my blockchain wallet. Is there any reason to be concerned or is there just a slowing of transactions for some reason?

Ah, I see. How are the fees going from Blockchain<Bovada<Blockchain<Bank?

I might have to check it out. Just paid something like $65 on a $1700 cash out

To everyone here posting about waiting times, don't worry is all I can say. I cashed out low 4 digit win at 10:10PM tuesday night, hit my lite wallet at noon the next day, cashed out to coinbase no problem got the 3 confirmations in 20 minutes, sent to paypal and sent to bank. Waiting on it hitting bank account today or early tomorrow hopefully. Great turnaround time. I'm actually not that concerned about the high fees because the process is so damn simple and I get my money in ~2-3 days turnaround time compared to waiting 3+ weeks for some sketchy check that will probably bounce at my bank and get me into a difficult situation.

BTC FTW.

I had a cash out for 5700$ that went to blockchain-coinbase.
Was showing as pending on coinbase for about 2 days. Now it doesnt show as pending, and the money is not in the account.
Does anyone have any experience with that?
Also having hard time contacting coin base support.
the page for support comes up as error

The same just happened to me. I sent 3500 to Coinbase from my blockchain wallet. I got a confirming email from Coinbase at noon on May 15th. It was "pending" for the last three days, but now it's gone, shows no transaction. Wtf?

I just checked there = nope. Lots of talk on social media sites (e.g. Reddit) about similar issues, and talk of Coinbase being completely inaccessible. FML

Does anyone has any experience or advice on the following?

1. Bitpay Wallet (local application - not online) to receive and send bitcoins from Ignition.
2. Bitpay Wallet to send money to Bitpay prepaid Visa Card, which I can withdraw $3000 per day and $750 per transaction ($2 fee Bitpay + $3 fee from ATM, which is only total of $5 fee or 0.67% of $750)

Why do I still need Coinbase?
What is wrong or risks with doing the above?

Thanks!

Not familiar with bitpay wallet, so can't speak to that. Have coinbase but have never used it since getting Visa bitpay card. Always good to have a backup plan though.

How do you get money into your Bitpay Visa card?

Thanks for the re-direct, but not sure it helps, and that dude never posted again on his transfer. If it's no longer "pending" why wouldn't it just get sent back to my Blockchain wallet. From what I can see, its a closed transaction on my Blockchain wallet account, and the deposit doesn't exist on my Coinbase account. Not feeling very good about this right now...

That dude never posted again probably due to his money showing up shortly after that in coinbase. EndTheFed's posts in this thread are worth their weight in gold. I don't recall any posts about folks not getting their money in your situation. Patience grasshopper, patience.

Lol, ok, I'll try to relax. FWIW EndTheFed also says later in March to NOT use Coinbase but Gemini instead. May have to look into that. Either way, I'll report back on what happens.

Are people still having issues going blockchain to coinbase while using the higher fee? TIA

I've been told it will all work out by others who are familiar with bitcoin so I'm not really worried. I'm just curious how the process works.
Two days later the transaction cleared and I made $20 did to the run up on bitcoin.

Not bad.

While I know this is true when I go from an Ewallet to an exchange, (it has taken up to 8 hours for me before).. I've never had to wait for more than a couple minutes for funds to go from iginition to blockchain. Anyone else having this issue today/tonight?
Hey I'm in the same boat as you.... money out of account and not in wallet yet--never waited before. Keep me updates please!

This happened to my friend last week. Roughly 5 days later it showed up.

theres still over 200 thousand unconfirmed transactions and theres sites with a simple google search which will tell you what fee to use and you will get confirmed in less then an hour if you do what they tell ya. If you put a low transaction fee at this point you may never get through and will probably get it put back into your blockchain wallet after a while.

Hey Guys. Please let me know if there is already a post on this, but i went back 10pages or so and couldnt find a solid answer.

Is it better to leave money in Blockchain or Coinbase as a means of security? Is the best protocol to leave in blockchain until i need cash and then send to coinbase, or vice versa?

Is there any horror stories of accounts being closed for this? And how are most people acuiring bitcoins? Just buying them through coinbase with steep fees or are there better ways?

Thanks in advance,
