man lol that reminds me of a time i tried to cash a check at that crappy bank that was in the news recently opening a bunch of accounts secretly for their customers and had to fire 5k employees or whatever and the CEO resigned.

well i tried to cash a 3k check at this POS bank and the teller called over her manager to confirm it and her manager told me that they needed to send it out for 4-6 weeks and charge me $75 for verification. i tell them thats absurd that i would have to wait that long AND pay a giant fee to cash my check. i mean they have phones and computers why cant they verify it that way? and why in the hell would they pass on the cost of verifying the check onto me?? what a damn scam!!!!! also keep in mind i had cashed a 3k check with them one month prior with no problems. this manager was pissed that the teller was flirting with me and interrupted her fat ugly ass on the phone and she decided to take it out on me.

so i asked her "has your policy changed?" she answered "no", "well do you do this with all of your checks?" "yes we do this all international checks". this bitch was lying to my face because id just cashed one the month prior without hassle. so i leave and come back a few hours later, same bitch telling me the same BS. so i leave again and come back the next day...

next day i get up to the teller and she asks how im doing. pissed and loud i say "not well, i want to close my account and make a complaint" so the teller calls over the same fat ass liar and she smugly asks "what's your complaint?" and i tell her mad as hell "no my complaint is about you i want to talk to somebody else" she looks mortified and the branch manager comes out of his office and we go into his office to talk because im being very loud because i want everyone in there to know im being treated like a second class citizen and being lied to. so i tell the branch manager that i want to close my account and that im pissed off that i was lied to and that i know i was lied to and thats a poor way to do business and treat your customers. i mean dont lie to you damn customers!!!! he admits the reason they wanted to send out the check was probably related to my account having four bucks in it or whatever. lol i know. but ive been going into that branch several times with 1k-3k checks from singapore and canada and never had a problem yet.

so eventually the branch manager asks to see the check and asks what its for and i tell him online poker cause IDGAF and i try to never lie and he says that since it's from canada that he'll honor the check and to go back to the teller he'll tell her to cash it. so i did without fee and 2 days later the money is in my account. i mean come on all they had to do was verify the money was in the account electronically in the first place!

and i still have an account with the POS old west stagecoach and horses bank because im too lazy to change and i've had an account there since 2000. but i aint paying no fees. i called them up the other day to complain about an overdraft fee even though when i signed up i was very clear i didnt want overdraft protection. the guy on the phone says recurring charges go thru automatically so i threatened to close my account again and ask well if my recurring charge was $1000 instead of $9.99 would it go thru automatically?? $35 overdraft fee was reversed.

TL;DR, threaten to close your account when you don't get your way, it works. threaten to take your business elsewhere, ive done that with ignition and bovada complaining about their crappy software and they have given me $50 bonuses. the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!!

I will post when I am paid.
So did you get paid? A few other guys have reported that Bovada or Ignition screwed them over using the same excuse. Is there a moderator here who can help us escalate the situation?

Your bank broke the law after processing that check after you told them it was for online poker.. I don't ever recommend anyone doing that part.

The original deposit will just sit in your deposit section on xxKraxxkenxx as pending for awhile and then eventually go away. They won't be able to take any of your money until you actually go to your bank and send the wire. If you decide you want to go to your bank to send the wire, just start a new deposit and save or write down the info on where to send it. Same thing happened to me before. Their customer support is really awesome and they'll typically get back to you and basically tell you what I just said. It may take them a day or two to reply so don't sweat it in the mean time. Hope that was helpful.
Thank you for the explanation, I do appreciate it.

Any luck yet?

I requested my first withdrawal 2/9 from Bovada via BTC. I got a note saying they would review within 72 hours.... 72 hours passes and no word. Sent a message and they were going to check and get back to me. No word. hmmm. Anyone getting BTC processed? Ill post when my transaction goes through. Time to start calling.

No luck yet. I sent in all the forms they requested yesterday, haven't heard anything back. Seems like something is going on.. I've had 3 BTC cashouts in the past 2 months and they've all gone fine. Deposited same method with same card too. Strange they would just now need all this verification..

its only against the law if you get caught!!! also since the check was from an international payment processor and not a us based payment processor nor an online gambling site it might be legal??? probably not still but whatever they cashed it.

I have made 2 BTC deposits today and one (Ignition) is 11 hours old and the other (Betcoin) is 5 hours old and neither has any conformations yet. It seems the problem is with the blockchain not Ignition.

yeah maybe you did not send a large enough fee with your BTC payment. traffic volume might be high.

Hmm, it's not as bad right now as it has been other times when there were widespread delays... but yeah it is most likely a fee issue.

Which wallet did you send from?

You can PM a link to the transactions if you want me to check it out.

I finally was able to get some BTC and I have it in my BloCha wallet. I have a question about the bitpay card. Would I just go from BloCha wallet to the bitpay card? This seems like a better option than dealing with an exchange that may end up not being an option.

Yes. Ignition -> Your Wallet -> Card

The process works the same way as making a bitcoin deposit to Ignition.

In your Bitpay account you input the amount of USD you want to load on the card... they give you a specific amount of bitcoin to send, an address to send it to, and a time window to make the transaction in.

Hi, haven't played online in awhile and was looking to deposit on Ignition. I was curious if Bovada still has ties to this site. I don't really want to get into the whole story but essentially Bovada thinks that I owe them money. Someone hacked into my account and made deposits adding up to several hundred dollars, I complained to Bovada, they did nothing, so I contested the charges with my bank. Bovada claimed I owed them that money, I obviously disagreed so I never played on the site again after that. Anyway long story short I just was curious if Ignition has access to Bovada's records and would also be expecting this money. I don't want to deposit and immediately have all my money seized bc there is some note from Bovada claiming that I owe them money. Appreciate any help on this matter, thanks.

Basically same site. Different name. From what I've read on this forum over the years, you'll likely run into trouble playing on any site due to the sharing of info on charge backs and things of that nature. If I'm wrong, other posters will correct me.

I bought some bitcoin on Coinbase, but I did not have to verify my account with a photo ID, nor did I have to verify my account with the two small deposits. Is this the norm?

Hey guys, I just bought some Bitcoin on CB. Could someone please explain something to me, as I am a bit confused. For simplicity's sake, let's say I just bought $1k in Bitcoin. CB will not put the funds into my account for a week. What if Bitcoin plummets between now and then? If it dips 90%, will I only receive $100 in my account? Please explain how this works, as I am sure I am not the only person concerned about this. Thank you in advance for your help.

When I buy BTC from CB they add the BTC to my account immediately so no problem there dont know why or if you would have to wait a week. and when i sold the BTC i had to wait a few days but they gave me the USD that it was worth when i clicked the "sell" button.
