For anyone here using Electrum Wallet, be sure to update to 3.0.4 before running Electrum further.

Apparently there was a wallet exploit that allowed malware on websites to execute code in Electrum. This was fixed this morning, and you obviously do not want them doing that, so upgrade.

Does anyone know if Bovada/Ignition or ACR/BCP accept Etherium or BCH?

Also, would a transfer directly from Binance run into the same issues that you have when transferring from Coinbase directly to the poker site?

Last I knew, Bovada/Ignition accept BCH and ACR/BCP accept ETH. Not sure about Binance (I would assume it's an issue). Also not sure about fees. glgl

Electrum now states 3.0.5 is now needed as the 3.0.4 patch was not effective against an attack by POST.

I had a question about the difference between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.

I purchased Bitcoin Cash on Coinbase to deposit on to a poker site. I was going to send it to BlockChain before depositing onto Ignition. When I went to generate the address for the transfer on Blockchain I accidentally did Bitcoin instead of Bitcoin Cash.

I used that address on Coinbase for the transfer of Bitcoin cash. Did I just lose this money? The transaction is still pending confirmation on Coinbase. Is there anyway I can stop the tansaction?

I just got approved to buy Bitcoin on Coinmama. I don't see an option send and/or receive, is this possible? I emailed support but havn't heard back from them yet.

I received a response from support but it wasn't very helpful. Does anyone know if one can send Bitcoin from Coinmama to Blockchain? I honesty don't see an option to do so.

When you purchase your bitcoin, you have to enter a wallet address to receive them. Why not enter a blockchain wallet address?

I don't know if this topic belongs here but I had a question about bitcoins in the current US environment. I used coinbase last year for buying my bitcoins and depositing/withdrawing from the US sites (ACR, Ignition, BetOnline) with no problems. But recently most US banks have now banned the transfer of funds for buying cryptocurrencies. How are my fellow US players able to purchase bitcoins and how are you able to withdraw and actually get the funds now?

there is a new crypto room that has popped up, that really seems to have the right idea and motivation. The have both Ether and BTC rooms, and have just implemented a rake race as well. I really like what they have done thus far, and would check them out!

Then in their 30-page t&c there is no mention of a rake chart. I need the rake chart to even consider depositing.

It as soon as SWC posts any kind of social media update, folks might consider them relevant, rather than riding on what Micon built... how is that mobile app. coming along?? rake means nothing if nothing is actively being done to bring traffic in.... does SWC have an active rake race? a deposit bonus?.. they are simply milking the coattails of what "once was"...a 0.02BTC min. withdrawal seems a bit much, correct?... no updates since BTC was less than 1k.

Hi, just a question here, hopefully not too stupid.
I just noticed that Cash App allows you now to purchase bitcoin and keep them in Cash App. Am I able to send bitcoin from Cash App directly to Winning Network (True poker in particular). I have had bad experiences with wallets thus don't use them. Circle was only a good one for me but they stopped doing bitcoin a while ago.

I withdraw every sunday, the minimum is 2 chips now(which is 16 bucks or so) and hits in under an hour usually. I basically withdraw 5% of my balance or 50% of my winnings each week, whichever is higher.

Yeah ya don't have to "download" bitcoin. It is a currency. You have to buy it or have someone send it to you. Maybe coinbase or Kraken or a site will allow you to buy bitcoin. Then once you have it just send it seamlessly wherever. You can even email people bitcoin.

I recommend taking an hour or so to truly learn how this currency works.

I think it's ridiculous that many major credit card companies including Citi, and now Wells Fargo have banned the purchase of cryptocurrency. I am not liking this trend at all.

Also want to point out when you have bank of america cc OR debit card that allows crypto purchases they will charge like 4+ % as a foreign transaction fee.

The whole point of btc is low fees and low rake (wrt poker). I hate when people, sites, and banks mess with this.

One tip for american people interested in bitcoin poker on any site: go to serve.com and get the AmExServe $1 per month reloadable card. Free to deliver. Also, if you make sure it's empty when they charge the $1 it gets waved so it's a free card. Then when cashing out of poker sites transfer to your localbitcoins.com wallet (just set up an acct) and do a serve to serve escrow exchange. You can withdraw at an atm for free or use it like a cc. It's freaking awesome.
