Hi,
I decided to make this thread and show everything how greedy this site is. Im midstakes player playing up to nl2k. I play multiple sites (6 right now) with limited online bankroll of about ~$25k now. Im used to make deposits/withdrawals very often because as you can imagine if I have a good session I can go few thousands $ up, then down. Whats important Ive never made just deposit and withdrawal without proper play. I always try to play atleast few hundreds hands and rake some $, obv if I lose I just deposit again.
Once my session is over I just make a withdrawal.

Anyway here is what happend. I got warned by Red Star poker that Im making too much deposits/withdrawals and it they will charge me if (quote from their email):
"In order our cooperation to be profitable for both parties we asking you to keep minimum amount of $5000 on your account. So basically you only can Deposit / Cash out funds if:
- you have less than $5000 on your account.
- you have more than $5000 on your account"

+

this applies once I break those rules - The deposit fee is 3.5% and cash out is 1%. You shouldn’t worry about the safety of your balance on our site. We are on market from 2005, and never had any financial issues."

which tbh I find to be pretty decent bull****s. What other site wants you to keep $5000 on your account? Anyway I decided to snap leave the site at that point and made a withdrawal of my remaing balance (which was about $4xxx) with plan of not returing back ever. But yeah I understand that fast deposits/withdrawals are not good for site so I decided not to do that on this site anymore.

Then few weeks later I decided to give that site a chance again since there is not many microgaming skins left and play according to their rules. So I made 2 deposits of $2499 and 2500 (=$4999 - I knew I cannot go over $5000) balance and played a session on up to nl2k tables. I lost a bunch, got pretty pissed and decided to cash out pretty much all my funds.

I made a withdrawal of $2500 (there is limit of $2500/withdrawal) and they sent this email:
"Dear player,

We have processed your cash out for $2500 to Neteller. Pls note that we have deducted Neteller commission fees from your account (199.96$). It is 3.5% from your two deposits of $2499 and $2500 and 1% for cash out of $2500.

Regards,
Red Star Poker Security"

now according to their rules that 1% is fine because I did make a withdrawal while I had less than $5000 in my cashier - ok, Im fine with that. BUT what I dont understand why the hell did they charge me for depositing $4999 to their site? 3.5% rly?

-------------------------------------------------
I know this is all just mainly just a crying post since I dont expect Red Star to do anything about it. Id like to just let you guys know how it goes on this site.
Right now I did sent them multiple emails, they just cannot explain me why they charged me for 3.5% even tho my balance was lower than $5000.. I feel like I cannot do anything as 1 players vs whole site. Btw I already contacted my affiliate.

Lol what they do is actually really reasonable. Many many players constantly deposit/withdraw to get neteller/skrill bonuses add additional cash back. The thing is that both skrill and neteller charge poker rooms like 4-5%.
They changed you the money they pay themselves to ewallets so it is not that they made money off this.
I don't see anything bad/ unreasonable in what they wrote you. I think what they say seems really sound. Only you look silly here.

sorry, but you really dont know what you are talking about and clearly didnt understand my post at all. I AGREE with fees and I dont have any problem about that but they told me I wont be charge if I hold $5000 in my account which I did and they charged me anyway.

Btw I did make only 2deposits (had to make an other one because I lost almost all of it)/1withdrawal during last 10 days.. dont think its abusing of any system or anything. + as I said I always play solid volume before I make any withdrawal so poker site can cover their fees. Or do I have to deposit and then keep my money on the site forever? wake up

Which would make all your future transactions fee applicable. I don't see the problem.

Im sorry this wasnt very well written. It was just quoted from our 22 emails discussion and you missed a context (my fault). First they told me that $5000 balance rule + possible fee for breaking that rule BUT then they made an exception and allowed me to withdrawal my $4xxx remaining balance without any fee. Then after few weeks I decided to play again and I knew I cant go over $5000, thats why I made only small deposit of $2499, lost about $1800 during one session, so I had to make an other one of $2500 but my balance was uder $5000 all the time..

Minimum means $5000 or more, not less than $5000.

Whether the OP participated or not, his is the inevitable consequence of all the Skrill and Neteller account churning. This isn't the first room to react like this, and it won't be the last.
