Cliffs at bottom.

Firstly, I’m not looking for any sympathy, I knew Bet Online (BOL) was a high risk site when I signed up. I just didn’t know to what extent. So this threads purpose is to warn everyone about some of the things that others and I have experienced there.

Yes the games are soft, but the risk of playing there is way too high. DO NOT PLAY/BET THERE.

A little over a month ago I logged into my BOL to find my balance at $0. I had about $4,000 in the account when I last logged off. In the client I can look at the HHs and I could see that someone had played poker on my account and lost my money. I talked to support, told them my money is gone and I wasn’t the one who lost it. Since then my account has been under fraud investigation but I have no answers from them.

BOL requires a account number and pw to log into the client. This account number was not made by me and is something like C23842982. My screen name is different than this. I also have it saved in the client so when I login I just click the login button. So my point is it’s not something I am frequently typing in and it’s not something a random player would know by seeing me playing poker, unlike some poker client login and username systems—sometimes the screen name is what you use as your login in ID.

In order to get access to this number (and pw) the person would either have to have access to my computer or my email. It has been over a month and to this day neither my email or 8 other poker accounts have been touched or “hacked” in way. BOL is the only account of any type that has been accessed (to my knowledge) by someone other than myself. I have never in the past had any account hacked either.

***2p2 user jakedamus had the same experience as I did although his money was lost in a different manner and will tell you about it below***

There is something unique to BOL that makes it extraordinarily likely that our “hacking” was a result of them.

BOL employees know/have access to player account #’s AND passwords. Some customer service chat representative sitting in BOL’s office knows all my login info. And can login to my account and do whatever they like using a VPN or simply being outside of the country of Panama (where they are located).

When you talk to customer support in any other way than email, they require you to state your account # and password to get their assistance. I don’t have the chat covno but I was asked for my pw and refused. The rep then told me what my pw was and said something along the lines of “see, we know it, it’s just used for verification.”

I do have this chat log though:

Hi! Welcome to BetOnline! How can I help you?
You are now chatting with Wilson
Your Issue ID for this chat is LTK58301552517X. Please record it in case of pending issue.

Wilson: Thank you for contacting BetOnline Live Chat Service. How may I assist you today?
Me: Hi Wilson. I have had a pending cashout since sunday and I was wondering when that would be going through to my moneybookers.
Wilson: can i have your account and password?
Me: bbbbbb
Me: I will never be giving my password out under these circumstances, and to be honest its not cool that it's asked of me.
Wilson: we already have your passworde
Wilson: its just part of the security procedures
Me: Whats stopping you from using my password to log into my email on file, or when you get off work logging into my account?
Me: I know...thats the ridiculous part.
Wilson: i already know your password
Wilson: i just need to verify
Wilson: for your own security
Me: it starts with xxxxx
Me: or ends*
Wilson: ends
Me: so you cant tell me when my cashout will be processed unless i state my password?
Me: this is what I have an issue with "Whats stopping you from using my password to log into my email on file, or when you get off work logging into my account?"
Wilson: we are located on panama
Wilson: check the rules on betonline
Wilson: there you can see the countries that cannot use betonline
Wilson: panama is on that list
Wilson: that stops me from loggin when i get off work
Wilson: i just cant
Wilson: and we wouldnt either way
Me: nah its pretty simple. you get a VPN. log on. boom.
Wilson: we are here to help you
Wilson: haha ok sir let me check about your pending payout
Me: ill just write an email then.

Cliffs:

-BOL knows all player passwords and login #’s.

-My account along with jakedamus account were hacked and our money lost.

-Not one other account of ours in (poker acct, email, etc) was hacked at the time or has been since (1mo since mine was hacked and at least a couple since his was)

-BOL requires a login # different than screen name, so hacker would need access to our email or our computer.

Other shady things done by BOL:

-Failing to pay out customers for months now (players still waiting).

-Random accusations of chip dumping to lock player accounts.

Please see 2p2 user jakedamus and DREAMS_DONT_DIE post below about their experience.

Hi,

I played on BOL as TiltTits. On the 22nd of May this year i played a really long session on the site and won around 31k from a 50/100 game 3handed was the first time i saw it run on the site. At the end my session i was still logged into my account and some other sites i play on ipoker etc..

All of sudden i was booted from my account and i couldn't log in, i quickly talked to there online support and told them what was happening and they told me that i had been in the casino which i had not, After about 5min i was able to log back in to find all my money that was missing from poker account around 42k i cant really remember the exact amount i checked though their website to find out all my money had been moved over from my poker account to the Sports account, there was also 8k on the sports side pending a cashout there was a total of around 42k sports bets put on and at the time i didnt know but i find out later that there was $6,375.00 done in there online casino that i did not do.

[5/22/2012 6:01:08 PM] Nick Frame: in the ****ig span of 5min when u were logged off?
[5/22/2012 6:01:19 PM] Nick Frame: AND THEY WENT TO THE CASINO?
[5/22/2012 6:01:19 PM] Jay: ????
[5/22/2012 6:01:21 PM] Jacob: yeh i was locked out for like 5min

Anyway after sending them emails straight away i got these bets cancelled luckily they were only pending and and got the money put back into my account.
However the money done in the casino i have never got back i have asked for a detail report like IP addresses etc and have got nothing from this company i have rang them a number of times and wrote emails about this and have gotten no where, They tried to blame the 2p2 hack on this when i rang them they asked if i was a member here, I had a completly different password and i had an old email that i never use anymore when 2p2 was hacked so it cant be related in anyway.

At the time all this happened none of my other sites were touched my email had not been hacked nothing. I stopped using the laptop straight away to be safe, i am always really safe with all my security on my computers, NO ONE KNOWS MY PASSWORDS EXCEPT ME AND THE STAFF @ BOL.

I never play casino games and sportsbet and have no history doing this on the site the last email i wrote to them about this issue they havent even responded to it.

Since than i have requested all my money from the site i am still waiting on two $15,000 bank wires the first one requested on the 31st of pay and i was told it was paid on the 16th of june i still have not recieved anything from them.

All their support staff know your passwords becasue u have to tell them when u talk to them,

I can post emails and other details if needed.

Cliffs -

Win a large amount of money playing poker.

At the end of the session im kicked out of my account and cant log into my account for 5min.

When i log back in to find all my money trasfrered from my poker account to the sports side and 42k of sportsbets put on and $6,375.00 done in the casino.

None of my other poker account that i was logged into were touched in anyway my email etc..

I get money back from sports bets but not the money from the casino.

There support do not give me no type of report what happened to my account.

Still waiting on two 15k bank wires the first one from the 31st of may

I have posted a thread detailing betonline's attempt to attempt to swindle me out of a 15k bankwire:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...5k-me-1224333/

To summarize, following a psuedo investigation of my account due to winning, in addition to a flurry of emails and phone calls back and forth some of which can be seen on my thread i finally decided to make a 15k bankwire payout which i did not receive, as you all can see I am not the only one, this is not about sympathy but about justice and sharing the truth to put a stop to this scam once and for all.

I can confirm that betonline should indeed be avoided at all costs and need to be shut down for good. The only solutions are either that they are shut down or that all players victimized should be compensated immediately, preferably both.

Wow. Absolutely never deposit at any site that stores passwords in plain text to say nothing of giving low level employees access to them as well. That's just insane. Best of luck getting your $ back, and thanks for the warning.

no point, sbr is getting money from them. they have been known to help with stuff like this, but they censor their own forums heavily

Disagree. Flood them with complaints they have to listen. Were a reputable site like SBR to ignore a mass outcry against any site, even a paying customer, it would decidely tarnish their image. I don't think they'd risk that.

Prove me right, report this fellas... ASAP.

No idea how fruitful it would be, but what of reporting them to government or regulatory authorities in Panama? It's at least that serious.

Unfortunately my gut tells me they're set up there more or less for the reason that you can't touch them with this method. So sick though... bleh

Yeah I have been filing complaints with them for over a month, Ive been keeping TC up to date with this and all is definitely not as it seems with SBR. You can see my thread for more details surrounding SBR regarding this issue, we need more press on this to ensure betonline and their co-conspirators are put out of business

Firstly thanks for the support guys, regarding regulatory authorities: they accept US players which is against the law, theyre effected by US constitution. Being based in panama does not give you immunity from the law or from prosecution, I will personally be looking into putting a lawsuit together on behalf of everybody that is owed money next week.

I have tried calling SBR just now in addition to emailing them on numerous occasions on behalf of all of us unfortunate enough to be on betonline victims list, sportsbookreview are not answering or responding to my emails. If SBR is connected to betonline then they can be shut down as well. In any case it seems as though the two are related which would explain why my attempts to contact them are being ignored. I will keep you all posted

I will try to contact casinomeister now, thanks for the support

I emplore the moderators to ensure this is seen by as many people as possible, it deserves some much needed attention to put a stop to these thieves

Hey guys, just an update, i spoke to betonline on behalf of us all, they claimed that the money owed is large hence magically explaining delays, also that they deal with a 3rd party process as if im going to believe their blatent angle. I will continue to apply pressure but unfortunately i doubt this will change their shady ways, they just need to be shut down

Keep contacting SBR with all the detailed info you can. They can be slow sometimes, but I have seen them resolve a lot of situations. Just be civil with them..accusing them (as you have done here) of being in bed with BOL is not helpful. FWIW I've seen several complaints about BOL on SBR's own forum recently, so they are aware even if you haven't had your e-mails responded to yet.

Found this through your post on another forum.

Good luck, ****n BOL seems to be a shady place to do poker business. Not the first post I have read to this effect.

GL, and hope you get it resolved. If you dont, well, I hope you contribute to BOL being outed.

Shame if they dont pay you. I hope they do, and hope your story contributes to their demise if they dont.....

I will not consider them if this is not resolved and I will help spread this info as well if no solution - acceptable solution . is offered and redeemed.

Absolutly would never play at any site that are that loose with passwords no matter what.

Wondering about those sportbets though. How would anyone use your account, place bets and gain from that? Don't doubt the story, just trying to figure it out.

Did you fill out a complaint form with them? BOL is a paying sponsor and that is as far as it goes ,to my knowledge. You also might want to post a thread in their forum too in the Sportbook Industry section, as that will prob get their attn more than emailing them.

If your in London how can they use the 3rd party processors as an excuse unless they're running a ponzi scheme? I know its easy for me to say this but your situation is better than the other 2 guys and just try to be patient and you will end up getting paid.

It's the site. They don't want to pay him out so they lock his stack up in crappy parlays that will never hit..then they dodge him trying to cash out big money.
