Don't want to dilute the Stars thread with chatter about PartyPoker / BetMGM Poker in Michigan.

Working with customer support now at BETMGM to get into the $600 deposit bonus for new customers. I've already got a sportsbetting account and it's a "one-login" kinda thing. Hoping support will hook it up.

BetMGM chats says I (already have a sports betting account) should be able to register for the $600 deposit match promo as soon as they get their business together.

I didn't see a code for that one and when I deposited it defaulted to the FASTCASH50 promo so I just went ahead assuming I would get both. From what I can tell in their client and site neither were applied to me so it sounds like I will need to hit up their live chat once they get things sorted to see if they can apply one or both to a previous deposit for me, or if I need to deposit more/again. Not a big deal for me as I probably can't clear much/any of the match bonus at the stakes and number of hands I play and I had to deposit ASAP to test how HM3 worked with the new site.

You can only multi table 4 at a time LAME and the 8 person tables are going to dilute the amount of tables the site will offer

Considering BetMGM Michigan is currently the leader in online gambling, I would assume games will be more juicy on this site than on Stars. Time will tell...

When did it prompt you all to make a screen name? I logged in and my name defaulted to my first name underscore then last name initial. I have no memory of ever making this my username and if I did, it would have been when I made my account when it first launched (again, don't remember putting in anything other than my e-mail).

Also, anyone using PT4 successfully?

I registered via the website, not the client, and it prompted me for a screen name on step 1 IIRC. Fozzy71 was somehow taken already.



HM3 is working so PT4 should as well. HM3 wouldn't auto detect the HH path so I had to add it manually: C:\Programs\BetMGMMI\BetMGMPokerMI\HandHistory

Had you registered prior to today? I registered in the client like pre launch to get the bonuses or whatever. Logged into the client and never prompted for a name.

I registered for the first time today as I don't sports bet. I would try emailing support.mi@betmgm.com and ask if they can help you to change your name. I believe the ROW Party.com allows name changes so they might here also.



I have only played a little micro stakes cash, 1 free roll and just busted the $1 deepstack and so far the play by villains is lol bad.

I did support chat, and asked if I could change my display name. They said it would change in 24-48 hours. How many times one can do this I do not know.

My display name is now what I want it to be. Took less than 24 hours.

Dude - you are right. This is awful. Only played with the software for a couple hands, but it seems very old.

Table selection seems non-existent...unless there is a menu option I missed. I don't snoop around very much.

I personally think the Stars software is vastly better than ACR, etc. and maybe equal to Bovada (although I think Bovada has a more sleek appearance).

Partpoker/betmgm software reminds me of a offshutte Fulltilt version incorpated with pokerstars avatars that are bigger. Pokerstars is by far better since you can play as many tables as you want and on partypoker only 4 is the max. If pokerstars had a easier way of tracking winnings per hand like in a hud like full tilt had in its software it would blow out everyone with the hand number and winnings for the player of the hand that is

What does it take to clear the bonus and how does it compare with stars?

"This bonus is a release-restricted bonus. Bonus will be released as cash in increments of deposit amount.

-Bonus Cash Release: 10% increments of deposit amount (10 slabs)
-Bonus will be earned out at a rate of twelve (12) times the increment amount in iRewards Points to release each slab
For example: $200, the bonus would be released in increments of $20. In order to release that $20, you would need to earn 240 iRewards Points.
-Released cash is credited to player’s account available for withdrawal."

Also, you only have 28 days to clear the bonus which is much worse than Stars time frame. So if you can't play for a week, then you need to be strategic about when you make your first deposit to take full advantage.

These timelines are crazy for these bonuses. Do you know how many iRewards points you get per $1 of rake?

Yeah, not a fain of the software at all. No wait lists at all that I see and you cant observe tables. If you can find a table with an empty seat you can double click on that actual table to be seated there instead of where ever they seat you.
