I didn't have an affiliate so maybe I didn't understand the ramifications of that extra money, but isn't Xiao the one who stole it? I don't want to keep rehashing this ****. I am just asking you to see things from my perspective. If you cannot do that, I can't do anything about it. But my intentions were good.
Xaio had a special deal with Betcoin that no other affiliate could get. As such most of the regs were under his flag. Betcoin may have had no liability until they said they were going to pay. After they promise to pay they should have right? Betcoin promised to reimburse people for step tickets when they cancelled the steps. They certainly should have fulfilled that promise right? Betcoin promised people would get BCC. They certainly should have fulfilled that promise right? Betcoin had a BBJ that presumably would be paid out. They certainly should have fulfilled that promise right?
So help us get BBJ money back? Help us get the rakeback money back? I wasn't affected by the BCC thing but help that money get restored.
Bottom line is the site hasn't been ethical for a long time. I obviously didn't realize it until July or so of this year but since then I stopped playing there and I stopped promoting the site.
I attempted (and failed) to start a post-xaio affiliate program because I would prefer the players to get the money over Betcoin. I wasn't going to make much based on the % i was offering and what I would get (and I got 0 as like you said I signed no one up). If that makes me a bad person then so be it. My goal was certainly nothing other than trying to replace somewhat the level of rakeback players were getting before the Xaio scandal. Trying to make me equivalent to your level of wrong doing is laughable. I have a long history of being an ethical participant both in the poker community and in this forum as I have made literally millions of dollars worth of bets in this forum without escrow and paid every $$$ I have ever owed.
What you seem incapable of comprehending is you were clearly aware of some of these issues as you cite them yourself. Instead of lobbying to fix them you continued to constantly post to twitter etc. If you don't want to be associated with the Betcoin scam then why so intentionally attach your name to it every day for over year Scot Lenter? I mean that is a vastly different level of involvement than attempting to replace rakeback for players. I was attempting to be part of the solution. You have never been anything but part of the problem. But hey keep making excuses.
I hope they compensate us for the BBJ. I hope you get a sense of ethics and move on to something more ethical than your previous "job". I hope the poker community in general gets more ethical.
I just doubt any of that happens based on the evidence.
