Send them an email, they were very responsive to my suggestions.

Seals is low compared to a lot of other sites, 2.5% where are you talking about with lower rake?

It's not the percentage, it's the high caps.

Aha, I didn't realize that seals was high caps. Seriously, send them an email with your suggestions, they are looking for feedback.

Edit: Doesn't the lower percentage even things out? I know I pay a lot less rake at Seals than any where else, but I play micros...

Doesn't the 2.5% mean you pay less on all the small pots? Doesn't that even out even if caps are on the high side?

Regardless, their response was laden with "it's not our fault" - finger pointing. Completely unacceptable way to approach business. When you log into a product, its on their domain, and thus the issue are exactly theirs. It's not your fault some variable was not set correctly. And you aren't logged into another site, you're logged into Betcoin.

If Outback sells you a burger that contained e coli, is it the fault of someone else, or Outbacks? If you are going to bring a secondhand product to market, are you not responsible for testing it properly first? Making sure the proprietor tested it thoroughly?

I like the bitcoin option. It's a market, and it's an avenue that will work for poker. Things like this though, fall into the hundred other examples of networks or sites doing shady/half-assed things. From the largest of scams like FTP and UB, to the little things like not issuing refunds properly, accepting and allowing efforts like this to happen all add up to a ton of negative organic search results. Then when some Congressman has his/her staff start researching what stance they wants to take on this issue, they see an industry with crappy standards and expectations for the customers. Unfortunately their job is to run America, not create a taxable business industry and develop proper regulations. They should and I'm sure do tend to gravitate to the not on my time stance and vote no. And these all add up to where we stand today.

Stars and 2p2 really set a gold standard on how to conduct yourself in this market. Not many other places did. Fake coaches/results, fake money, fake accounts, super users, bounced checks, exorbitant rake. Add on the "gamble" identity and the bad apples the player pool has attracted over the years...

It's time for people like everyone that posted above to start holding people accountable. In this stance, that means don't play there and don't let them make money. They want to generate rake, then create a pristine product and don't half ass things in order to get a few more bucks.

That's a great political position, but practically it means not playing anywhere at all. I will be happy to flock to a site that has excellent service and does almost everything right the minute I get access to one, and I expect everyone else will as well.

P2P transfers are only allowed through the same skin on the entire network.

This is what 5 Dimes does. They recently started taking bitcoin deposits and withdraws about a month ago. Not sure why people are playing on Betcoin poker when they can just play on 5 Dimes which also offers them the opportunity to play on not just the Winning Network but the Equity network as well.

Probably because players on betcoin are in USA. Unless changed their policy recently usa players aren't able to use betcoin on winning network it is only an option for non usa players.

5 Dimes isn't on the Winning Network though, just like Betcoin isn't. I was never aware 5 Dimes had WPN games? Is it just tournaments?

Withdrew at 2:30am this morning, received at 10:15am. Under 8 hours all told. Not bad.

So, I can cash in and out w/ BTC (assuming withdrawals in a few hours?) and play any MTT, SNG, or cash table on WPN I want? Interesting..... downloading 5 Dimes as we speak to see what the deal is.

Edit: It looks like you can only play HU up to 1/2 and other cash up to 2/4 . Haven't looked much further than that yet.

Just signed up on 5Dimes, (U.S. resident), but was offered no option for a bitcoin deposit. Just W.U., e-wallet and something else, all cash though.

The site says you have to go through live support. Haven't tried it yet, I suspect BTC is going to rebound and it's a bad time to buy USD right now.

I looked at the 5dimes lobby last night. Seemed to be no more games than you can get on BetOnline/SWC.

They have their poker stuff separated into 3 different pools, all of which are different networks. I have no idea about the 1st 2 pools, but the Sharktank (which is WPN) is much bigger than SWC and smaller than BOL for cash, but has much better software, rakeback, and a decent tournament schedule.

WPN cash traffic used to be about 200 players per night average higher than it is right now so it will be interesting to see if they regain some of that traffic or keep bleeding.

BTC has to be done through email ( I can't remember the address, but support gave it to me) and is a minimum of w/e $100 USD is at that time. You can also withdrawal up to $25K........ Yeah, I'm sold.

Thank you, and good info. Dare I say, how about US players and HUD?

Thanks again for the good info. I used to bet baseball (like $2 units) for fun. Just took up too much time vs the recreational benefit. This was many years ago. Good to see my login etc still worked.

You can use a HUD on 2 of the 3 for sure, I'm not sure about the 5dimes only room.

Also, did you see that Coinbase blocked a Seals with Clubs player, because "Gambling is illegal under US law"?
