Reported as well, I'm quite surprised the guy could go 250 posts without getting banned tbh.

Almost 6 months... this is getting ridiculous.

I Think we should start to organize ourselves so we can take some action together.

My suggestion is to create some temporary Forum... this thread is huge (more than 200 pages) and disorganized. A few players are reading/posting in this thread now and most of them are just giving a look here once a month to see if there are any news.

With a temporary forum we can achieve much more things.

- 1st we can be more "representative" to the liquidador to get news. One thing is a player asking them for updates... another thing is some association of players asking them to inform the currently situation.

- 2nd we can keep all the new information much more clear. Such as legal information that some player discovered, how to keep in touch with the liquidator, any update of the situation and we can even know how much we are claiming for... i really no have idea... 500k? more than 1 million?

- 3rd and most important, we can get united to take any legal action together... against tusk, the liquidator or microgaming. I think if we are claiming for 500k, it will be no big deal to spend some thousands with lawyers, it will cost less than 1% to us. I am not saying this will be necessary or that we should do this way, but in a message board we can discuss the situation and we can decide together what we can do about it.

I dont know if 2plus2 can support us on this, creating some temporary forum. But creating some message board will not be the difficult part.

Well, that is my suggestion... I am tired of waiting. What do you guys think about this?

P.S: Sorry about any english mistake, It is not my native language but I think I could explain clearly my point.

There's something like 6 million trapped up in this afaik. I dunno about the forum thing though, a website with a list of the events and warning others not to use MGS would be a good move though, so long as we could get a good domain name for it of course.

The poker boom is over and there may be too many poker sites on the market. Small sites = bigger risk for bankruptcy. The Tusk/Microgaming debacle shows that once you deposit you're not in control of your money. In fact they are not yours any longer. The company can use players funds anyway they want - making bad business decisions or, even worse, run away with them. The players have very little protection in these scenarios so players wisely stay with the big operators. So this way a shrinking market unfortunately favours the large companys. The competition diminishes which is, of course, bad for the players.

Indeed, but I suppose what can we do?

The player balances appear to be funding the liquidators, yet we can't even get info from them. They're calling the shots with our money. First we were screwed by Tusk by them blowing our money to keep their business afloat, now we're being screwed by Simspartners. Sitting there for another 2 months waiting for proof of debt forms is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous and it's clear what their true intentions are, yet we have no discourse. It's quite surreal, yet it's happening and there's nothing we can do about it seemingly.

If I was web design savvy I'd try to get a site up detailing the facts on what's happened.

MGS could not give a ****, the skin owners could not give a **** and the liquidators could not give a ****, yet we the players are the ones that are truly losing out.

It's one thing for the skin owners to have purchased a licence for $25k and have now lost that, it's a business risk, we the players deposited our cash on the presumption it was being held safely and have gotten raped by a company many of us didn't even know existed (as there was **** all about it on the Battlefield site/signup forms/etc).

I know some will say that it's a risk for us to put our money on the sites in the first place, well considering the skins themselves (Battlefield/Rednines) were huge and had good reputations, I'd imagine most felt it was about as risky as putting money on Stars or FTP i.e minimal.

Meh, bit of a rant but I'm pretty tired of this situation and how nothing is happening yet it's costing us daily.
