There hasn't been a knee jerk reaction i.e everyone hearing about it, saying *** you MGS and taking their money elsewhere.
cuz ppl are dumb / they think theyyre safe on their bigger room and dont get that no room on mgs is safe since mgs deals with shady companies and has no idea wtf each skin actually is doing.

My Poker Profit was started by Casino Profit Share back in 2004 (I believe) when things were rollin' right along and everyone was profitable.

But because of the UIGEA in 2006 and bad management they were operating in the red since then and some employes started to leave.

It seems that Tusk owe several millions to Microgaming wich could be their main creditor.

Tusk received buy offers but they turn it down, because they wanted to keep operating and they started to sell poker skins to persons who wanted to have their own poker rooms for a reasonable amount of money.

This poker rooms had very good bonus and they were promoted by rakeback sites that were giving 60% rakeback deals to atract players (violating the Microgaming caped rakeback rules for all the network).

Well Microgaming and Tusk didn't reached an agreement and the licenses were withdrawn and Tusk could not operate and went to Liquidation.

Microgaming has records of players deposits and accounts, and some Microgaming high representatives assured in a unoficial way that players deposits are safe but the afilliates that received a % of the rake and the site owners probably are screwed.

I think that the odds of the players getting their money back are still good so its not time to retaliate yet, lets wait a little longer for the liquidation process, thats all you can really do.

If the money was not stealed by the Tusk owner and i think it was not because of Microgaming being the main creditor, and because i believe they have a lot of integrity you guys are still in good shape.

Microgaming has a good reputation in online gaming but they only give a service the players need to choose well were to put their money.

There are several trustfull poker sites and some of them publicly traded on Microgaming network.

But there are a lot of scams on online gaming that gives a bad reputation to this industry.

I put in here before a link from were came this information but the administrators of the forum erased my post.

I listened to the show and don't remeber anything saying MGS was a secured creditor that is owed several millions (although I imagine in reality they probably are owed some money for account transfers to other skins). Most of the information was speculation, the worst part being that they claimed that microgaming had no responsibility to the players (even though microgaming gets rake from all of us) but yet they calimed that MGS told them they would cover players balances (very irresponsible since no one has confirmed this).

Also looks like microgaming has been hit very hard in player traffic.

He also called those who were intending to boycott Microgaming "uneducated".

Cavalucho, thanks for trying to enlighten us but hundreds if not thousands of people and affected players are checking this thread regularly for concrete information so please be responsible with what you report here if the source is not highly credible. Thanks.

That's also an open message to anyone else out there who wanted to chime in with "information" regarding the subject..make sure it is fairly concrete or if you hear a rumor, label it as such..

I think this is good news for players as it might kick MGS in the butt to do something. Anyone else agree?

Yes that is exactly why people are asking players to boycott MGS

That sounds almost as bad as this guy confidently proclaiming that the issue has been resolved and commends both Tusk and Microgaming for the way they have handled the matter.

As I mentioned before his show is SPONSORED by fortune affiliates which are one of the larger MGS skins.

I wouldn't doubt if the guys connected with rounders have a stake in microgaming as well (hence the inside contacts).

Whenever dealing with hunches and beliefs its important to consider the source of the information.

Perhaps it's just as important when hearing these "hunches" and "beliefs" to take into account who is paying the speaker. Interesting how the fact that the Tusk casino operation has been bought out (with player balances etc. safeguarded) was stressed and yet no mention of the equally important fact that the poker operation has not - and yet he was singing the praises of Microgaming! I get the feeling that Penn & Teller might just have a field day with that bull*****ter.

When this thread leaves the main page it makes me want to burn my computer.

I'd settle for vague words of encouragement or allusions to a possibly improving situation. RCC? Battlefield? Anyone? (knowledgeable).
