Hi I was wondering what is the status of goldenrivierapoker or crazypoker I forgot my password and forgot about this account and recently retrieved it. I don't have much in there only about $1600. Should I even play there or am I wasting my time? What is the withdrawl process as the last time I played there neteller was a viable option.

Neither are part of this group, so you're fine. If you're in the US, I believe the Micros are pushing Quicktender/UseMyWallet these day.

This is part of Micorgaming's statement regarding Tusk:

"As a founding member of eCOGRA, Microgaming is at the forefront of an initiative focused on setting the highest standards in the gaming industry, and leads in the areas of fair gaming, responsible operator conduct and player protection."

I guess time will tell if this is in fact true.

Response:
"In response to your email. Firstly, we are an independent PR agency and not part of Microgaming itself, so the only information I have on the situation has already been made public.

I can confirm that Microgaming is currently waiting on more information from Tusk Investments – in particular, details of the appointed liquidator. Until it has this information, I am afraid it is unable to comment further on the situation. They appreciate the frustration this may cause and hope to have further updates soon. You can find full copies of the two statements on the website."

So i guess all we can do is wait for the liquidator.

Not sure how often these settlements occur, but there would be a secured position in favor of MGS as a result, and this secured position may extend to all player account balances. It really just depends how the agreement between MGS and Tusk is written.
In the UK this 'charge' would not take priority over the liquidator's fees - is Tusk an ozzie company - what is the case over there?

The other point is that if the better players were playing on the RB sites (most likely) the debt may actually be funds owed by MGS on behalf of the other operators TO Tusk (which the liquidator could then litigatefor using the players money to fund the action).

I'm sorry if this has been answered before but I wanna know how it affects that I tried to withdraw right after I read about this. Does this mean that my money went into Tusk hands instead of being held by my prima skin?

I attempted to withdraw so I had all my money as a pending withdrawal. But now when I go into bank/pending withdrawals it says there is no pending withdrawal. :/

On your first point -- good point. But hopefully the liquidator's fees would be quite small as a % of the assets (including player deposits).

On the second point -- If MGS were to withold player settlements TO Tusk as compensation against other debts that might be owed from Tusk to MGS, that would be a serious PR blunder. I don't think that it would take litigation to settle this question. Player settlements are also likely to be small in relation to the total value of player accounts.

Battle is telling us all they can, you were already told Tusk is responsible for processing cashouts and they won't do any of that now. The reverse withdrawal expires after a set amount of time. You know this was going to happen and it has been explained multiple times in this thread.

When it comes down to it. I don't think it will make a difference if you tried to cash your money out, or just left it in the account. It's not like it disappears into thin air if you press withdraw.

I would love to let you know, but I have no information. Literally both sides MGS and TUSK have completely shut the poker room operators out, both sides saying their lawyers won't let them talk.

We are getting all our information from 'sources' mostly rumors and some inside contacts. That is why I don't want to make any official announcements until we are 100% certain. The only thing we care about right now is the player balances.

I'm thinking the Global Approach Limited fiasco last year had put Tusk in such a precarious financial position that there was no way they were going to succeed long term, in the environment we are now in after UIGEA.

It's possible that Global Approach Limited was demanding some type of payment after the reversal of the Tusk acquisition. I assume Global had made some cash payments to Tusk ownership, and not all the acquisition was done in stock. I do know that 155,000,000 million Tusk vendor shares were canceled by Global after the affect of UIGEA was realized by Global management, and seeing their investment potential in Tusk diminished. The vendor shares had a value of 12.5 cents each, for a total acquisition price of just under 20 million. EDIT: I can't find any statements that say Tusk was paid anything in cash before the reversal of the acquisition.

I believe Tusk was on borrowed times after the Global Approach Limited fiasco. It took about a year for them to go under after the reversal of the acquisition.

EDIT: It is possible that money was due to Global for what I assume the sale of it's casino assets to Tusk, ie Music Hall Casino I believe, and one other casino as well as a minor poker room. Possibly, Tusk went into liquidation because of some poorly negotiated settlement with Global last year. Pure speculation.

Yes, thin air is right. One day my money is there in pending withdrawal, then it is gone. I don't know where it is, and there is and no one can tell me where it is. If that's not thin air I don't know what is.

And i'm not saying I think my money is gone for good (obv I hope not) but it is frustrating that it's been what like 4 days now and we still have no real information about the status of our money? I know we are all on the same side here, and I appreciate all the information people have gathered. There's got to be someone somewhere who knows what's really going on besides the official statment of we can do/say/no nothing until we get a liquidator.

Hi, it would not dissappear into thin air, there will be a record of the withdrawal going through. MGS will have a record of this.

We have the same feedback as Battlefield and as far as I know RCC and Rednines are in the same situation. We were told Monday, now we're told Tuesday, so hopefully there will be some news today.

So far we have had no news from MGS or Tusk other than what everyone has seen here already.

Cheers,
Arcticpoker.
