I would like to bring some awareness in to the poker community regarding things happening in the chico network (tigergaming).

I played about a million hands on Betonline and Sportsbetting at .25/.5 to 1/2(Nicknames BELGAZ, DEARSUZY). The support team was okay, I never had problems with them.
I moved to Tigergaming(nickname ROADSTER). A few weeks ago I opened the client and saw following: "Your account is locked"

I immediately contacted the support team. I got a reply only after 3 days. The email:

"After reviewing your account, we noticed that you have been receiving funds via our poker software.
Due to this prohibited activity, we have decided to permanently close your account and confiscate your remaining balance.
Chip dumping is the act of purposely losing hands to specific players, with the intent to swop chips on cash tables/tournament tables/SNGs. All players involved in chip dumping will have their funds confiscated and their accounts closed and banned from playing on the network."



Of course I never even nearly did anything like Chip Dumping. Why would I?
It is 3 weeks already since I got banned, I wrote dozens of emails to the support team, but only received standart/robotic answers. I, of course, asked for evidence of my prohobited activity, but I did not get any replys regarding my requests at all.

Now they keep ignoring me for like 10 days already...
They simply decided to close my account, taking all of the money I had there (about 2600 USD).

My affiliate could not help me. Quote (translated from russian): I would like to help you but I can't. I have already contacted the Tigergaming Manager regarding your case, and the answer was something like: "we will not take back any bans we did, dont bring pro's to our site". Chico is currently giving a lot of perma-bans, banning lots of winning regs. A few people even got baned for winning a lot. A few got banned because of Chip Dump. They like to use this reason for a ban when they can't find anything else. Chip Dump is hard to proove, but also hard to belie.


Guys. What the hell??



I am, of course, ready to give any necessary information (hand history) for reputable people in the community, so they can make sure I did not brake any rules.

I've seen all 3 of your nicknames in the games and it never stood out to me that those accounts may be doing anything nefarious. I obviously wasn't monitoring you 24/7 so I can't say anything definitively.

TigerGaming seems to be cleaning house lately. The network seems to be moving towards a more recreational player based model. I'm sure what your affiliate said is correct, that they don't want any net withdrawing players brought to the site right now.

Without providing you any details about the alleged chip dumping I think it's pretty scummy of them to confiscate your entire balance. They should at least return your deposit if they can't show you proof of this cheating that they say you did.

Assuming everything told here is the truth then this is inexcusable. They are within their rights to ban somebody for any reason they want but to confiscate their funds on something as thin as a suspected chip dump is out of line.

Until they provide you some evidence I wouldn't recommend anyone to deposit on this site. Without providing legit reasons for banning people they are free to steal your money for any reason they choose to come up with. If they don't want net withdrawing players brought to the site it's well within their rights to stop accepting their action, but they can't just start making up reasons to ban people and steal their money. A Tiger Rep should come in here and dispute what BELGAZ is saying if he is leaving anything out, but I have no reason not to believe what he is saying. My guess is they won't since they've been absent from this forum for a while.

So he allegedly got banned chip dumping but yet his own admission has used multiple accounts on the network which I'm pretty sure is a violation of the terms of use. By that admission they have no obligation to repay him any money

It's not against the rules to make accounts on different sites of the network. This is true of many networks. Whether you agree with people being able to do this doesn't mean he did anything wrong.

Obviously using multiple accounts to play at the same time would be a problem. The email didn't say he did that. The chip dumping they're accusing him of likely has nothing do to with his other accounts.

I believe that you can create accounts on both sportsbetting and bol to bet on sports only but you can't play poker on both(from what I read a long time ago). I don't think anyone would be dumb enough to chip dump into an account they own under their name but with some people today it wouldn't surprise me

I've never used a multi-client account. Before I started playing SPORTSBETTING, I closed the account on BETONLINE
Accordingly, before playing Tigergaming - I closed the account on SPORTSBETTING. I've never violated the rules here, I can show screenshots of letters in proof.

As far as writing an email to vouch for you, I could certainly try. I don't play on TigerGaming though. I play at BetOnline. You would need to give me the correct email for TigerGaming support.

As far as searching your hand history for chip dumping I would probably need the name they're accusing you of colluding with. Otherwise I'd probably be searching for a while for something that may not have happened.

Support did not say any nickname ... I made screenshots of all the letters that the support wrote to me and I told them. It's really very strange. I am ready to provide a hand history, but, of course, without these nicknames (with which I potentially could break the rules).
But I played only 37512 hands (nickname ROADSTER).

Without knowing who I'm looking for you to be chip-dumping with it would be very difficult for me to go through your hand history and find it. It's like a needle in haystack and the needle may not even be in there. I'm just not going to spend time doing that, sorry.

I asked someone with contacts there if they could ask someone at TigerGaming to look into your case. I haven't heard back from them yet.

I don't know if an email from me vouching that I never seen you do anything wrong at the tables would help, but I don't mind trying.

The VIP levels are linked to how much rake you are paying at the tables. Since you're not playing you dropped to the lowest level which is Bronze.

Support answered - this is already encouraging. Now I will write in support every day by letter.

Try to get in contact with the thread starter from the thread below to ask what steps they took. He was in a similar situation and just got some funds back.
