Firstly I'd like to acknowledge the fact that most will feel I deserve a permanent ban and that the agents are just doing there job, still, I feel my arguments for my case to be reconsidered are not even glanced at and would like to know if there is another avenue I can go down to get my point across. The main reason I feel I deserve at least this is because I used to be a valued customer and my actions have never been in any way malicious towards Stars or any other player.

The first mistake to eventually escalate into a permanent ban is the creation of more than one account, one in my name and another in my Dad's name. While being of legal age to play I did not have any photo identification and my naive mindset to get around this was to just make another account, with my father's permission and the use of his identification. This issue, a year after the accounts were associated as linked, was resolved and it seemed as though I had been forgiven and I played on the site like anyone else for quite a while. This matter is (I think) key to Pokerstars now accusing me of fraud (3 years or so after the account creations).

The second mistake which I feel is unfair is being associated with my girlfriend's account. Around 10 months ago while very influenced by various substances she lost a questionably small amount of money (£300) and sent an email to pokerstars that would have seemed like she was quite distressed by the loss and perhaps that she was a problem gambler to any agent reading it. I know the site is very against allowing these types to play on their software and she was banned instantly, no chance of redeeming herself via logic and any explanations of it being a one off occurance, out of character due to not being sober etc, were dismissed as though they had not even been mentioned. She is not a gambler at all really, only played now and again since meeting me, her account couldn't have been open for more than a few months. She owns her house and has a very strict way with money, why she reacted over a small amount I don't know. Anyway due to the possibility that I could be letting her play on my account I was banned too and haven't been able to get a response from Pokerstars for about 8 months. The reasoning was fraud, association with my girlfriend's account and that any further correspondence on the matter would be ignored.
I offered to share my girlfriend's bank statements and my own to squash any suspicion of problem gambling but again, I can't tell if these requests are even remotely considered.

I really enjoy MTTs and I'm very disheartened that I will not be able to play on stars again. No other site has traffic that comes close. I've never tried do anything malicious on here, certainly in terms of fraud, and have contributed my fair share in rake. Will my circumstances ever be given a fresh look/consideration? It doesn't seem so to me.

Thanks for your time, please let me know your thoughts and whether they are correct in the ban length being forever full stop.

Your ban won't be overturned, sorry. They're legally obligated to act like this if there's even a hint of problem gambling.

Even say in 5 years time? Problem gamblers are people and people can become responsible right? I'm just really frustrated that logic is seemingly not even remotely considered.

When a problem gambler 'becomes responsible' , they just don't gamble anymore.

For when you choose to open your fourth account try to avoid doing it in the name of a relative or an alias that claims to be a problem gambler. Then when you get caught again, complain and look for sympathy (which will be as successful as this try) and then create a fifth account, perhaps in a friend's dogs name. When they ask for ID send in a flea collar. That seems to be your eventual path in the industry.

All the best.

Your read is wrong, this time.

I'd like to play with my own name.

Not here for sympathy. Harmlessly asking if anyone knows an avenue to appeal other than through stars security and if there is none, is permanent actually permanent?

If I were Stars, I'd likely be ignoring you as well. Enough shady/weird stuff going on with you and your accounts that it makes sense to refuse your business. You're too high risk for them.

Of course. But, generally speaking, problem gamblers can't/shouldn't become responsible gamblers. To become responsible, they stop gambling.

Now, of course you can find a few exceptions to this. But once a site designates someone as a problem gambler, they can't take the risk that they will be one of those exceptions. If that player starts losing a bunch of money, the door is open for them to complain that Stars shouldn't have allowed them back on, and attempt to recover their losses.

Also, if you think that showing bank statements has any bearing on whether someone is or isn't a problem gambler, I don't think you really understand what a problem gambler is.

Appreciate the replies, guess I'm going to have to deal with it. Partypoker the best alternative?

Yes you're right. My opinion or reasoning will never be prioritised over a potential fine or bad rep.

Will miss the odd MTT with over 10k people.
