It depends on getting a certificate from somewhere or other (I'm not directly involved so can only be vague). It takes aaaages to get it, but our side is all finished. Hopefully no more than a couple of weeks.

Hi Sciolist,

Can you switch my 25MTT tickets with 25 SNG tickets and my two 100nl tickets with a 200nl ticket?

I don't want to make this too regular of a thing - I don't want to have my whole job be crediting tickets. So if this gets out of hand in this thread, I'll stop. But for now: sure. Can you PM me your login name please?

Did anyone experience either disconnections or the white screen login problem yesterday evening onwards?

I did not received a free spin.
I blow-up my 4NL rush-poker ticket with only 6 flops left for a point.

I play a new table after that, after some hands I check my progress and it says 46 flops left. So I got past the 50 flops and the counter resets, but I don't have a free spin.

And also: Any ETA for the Android app ?
06-03-2014 , 11:04 AM
Could you mail support on that one please? I don't know much about how it works, but they should have access to that stuff (or at least, they should soon).

Android: not sure. I'd definitely like to get one, but I think we're going to fix a load of bugs and fit in some of those important missing features like table tiling/cascade, table priority, possibly multi-tabling and MTT in iOS & browser first. I don't know how much work is required to make the Android version but I would guess we're a couple of months away at least.

Thanks for quick reply, will emal support.

dont want to troll or anything but games at midstakes are nowhere near what they where 1 and half ago. Im pretty sure you guys knows it by looking at VPIP % average on the tables..

what is the marketing plan to bring new rec players ? seems like they all went bust, i dont think the regs are gonna want to play against each other for a very longt time

1 and a half what ago?

Sorry to David in the office as I totally stole his idea for how to reply to this without needing the period, and then I did the fun part and figured out the answers while he wasn't at his PC.

I compared VPIP from Apr to May. It's not quite the same as pokertracker VPIP - it's actually the proportion of hands that were raked, but as I'm measuring the proportion of hands that are raked over two identical periods, it works the same.

- NL4 VPIP is down 2.3% which is no real surprise. We gave every player €10 at NL4 when we launched and that money is winding down.

- NL10 VPIP is up 0.5%

- NL25 VPIP is up 2.6%

- NL50 VPIP is down 0.8%

- NL100 VPIP is up 0.4%

- NL200 VPIP is even

- NL400 VPIP is down 2.1%

Apparently the software makes a difference between Fast Fold'em tables and normal tables. Does is also make a difference between PLO, normal hold'em and Fast Fold'em?

EDIT: Just tested it and it makes a differce between all those things. When I read the promo it doesn't mention anything about that:
How do I win free spins?

All you need to do is play cash game poker.

To get 1 free spin, you need to see:

50 flops at NL4 / PL4 or
25 flops at NL10 / PL10 or
10 flops at NL25 / PL25 and above

Oh yes, good point. It has the same flop requirements for different stakes as although they rake different amounts it's not worth confusing matters to list a huge table. But the software doesn't really "know" the difference between NL4, PLO4 and fast4 so you'd get a different counter for each.

hello sciolist,

hope you can help me with my issue, or at least tell me what is going on. I have my account locked for more than 2 weeks now with reasonable sum of money on it.

when I try to contact help support and get explanation, only answer I am getting is that my account is under security check and that is only thing they know, plus they will notify me via email when its sorted out. I have sent and resent all needed documents 5 days prior locking, and I dont know why they are taking that much.

can you tell me what is the problem?

I've been keeping quiet in case there are any huge bugs, but I think it works. It's very similar to the iPad version in that it doesn't have multitabling or tournaments, but is otherwise identical to the PC/mac desktop versions.

And entirely unrelated, but Unibet Open Tallinn should reach 250 players. I'll be in the casino bar tomorrow at about 5 (wearing jeans, jacket, white shirt, unibet staff lanyard) - if you read this, let me know and I'll buy you a beer. If I'm lucky I'll even get to expense it.
This doesnt work on my Ipad 1 or my android tablet, they send me to the mobile site

Sorry, this is with the security department, I can't do anything except follow their procedures. They'll be in touch.

It won't work on Android because Android doesn't support flash. I think it's likely that the iPad 1 has the same problem, sorry.

Question for Sciolist or anyone who might know. I'll be without internet for a week at the end of the month, and am thinking of getting a dongle to use for playing poker. Any idea on rough data usage that would be expected?
Cheers

Should be pretty low. Played for about 20 hours a month ago or so when my internet was down using a dongle and it showed 30 mgbs used. From unibet + surfing 2+2 (a bit)
Also, you can test it out for yourself by playing for an hour, clicking the internet thingie in the bottom right corner and checking the traffic before and after
Good luck!

Hey Sciolist, after a week that i think was the worst ever, i have a sugestion so maybe you could make people like me ( running bad ) a bit happy. Make some race, or whatever you can call it and give to the player that runs the worst ( BB under EV ) some kind of compensation . That will make the regs that have a bad month a bit happy at the end. Doesn`t have to be something fancy, for example for the first 3 players a small compensation.

Good idea. I'm trying to do something similar with Double Trouble - if you are down €20 in a week then you enter a freeroll that awards lots of €40 prizes. The idea is that it makes people feel better if they lose, and that it redistributes promo money to the losing players, on average.

Perhaps a "gateway promo" would be to say something like "get all-in preflop with aces and lose" - that gets people used to that kind of idea. It has the disadvantage that it's no longer redistributionary, but the advantage that it makes people feel better for losing, and potentially makes weak players play better by not slowplaying aces preflop.
06-05-2014 , 03:21 AM
Double trouble i think is very good for recreational players, makes thet fell a bit happy after they loose in a week.
The aces promo sounds good, but what i am traying to say that people that are for example -10 BI - -20 BI under EV, to give them something to ease the pain at the end of the month .
Don`t know how the software works at your end or if you can calculate EV but if you can and consider my proposal i think this will make one of the best promo everywere for regs that are running bad.
06-05-2014 , 04:45 AM
Yeh, I get what you're saying. I meant a "gateway promo" as a way to introduce that kind of idea to a lot of players. Having to explain EV and then all-in EV and then get into who is running worse than who - that's quite a lot of things to get across to people, often even the ones who you'd expect to know.
