Any sites still using Dobrosoft software? Any sites still using Dobrosoft software?

I know Dobrosoft got sold about 6 years ago but I've always wondered if the new owners got anything for it. Any sites using it today?

Download True Poker/ACR. I am pretty sure they are using an improved version of Dobrosoft. The "Waiting for updates" bar when you open it is identical. The lobby and tables look similar and even more in the early stages before many updates were made.

When True dumped their old software for this one I asked several times and never got a straight answer if Dobro was the base software. Futurebet ended up with it and after the Gold Chip Network failed (Poker World and a bunch of Futurebet sites) the software disappeared.

Thanks. I think you are correct. I see the similarities. It was the old ACR that took on Choice Pokers players debts on a 10X play through also. Choice was the original Dobrosoft site. Funny how things go in a circle. Now the new ACR has Choices old software.

ACR was before Choice. Chpice came about when Dobro was licensing to many different standalones like Poker World, Platinum Poker Club, and Choice Poker. AFAIK ACR was the first Dobro starting in 2001 or early 2002. They were my first online poker room.

Good memory. I played them all but I sure don't remember like you do. I remember what promotions they opened with more or less, but that's about it.
PPC started out great, loved what they had to offer. Didn't last long. PW tried but nobody came.

Wish someone had chronicled the rise and fall of the 100's of sites that popped up and then on the most part vanished. Would be a good resource for the future.

I had a content buyer pay me to write articles about the rise and fall of about 15 rooms. I wrote them all but he only ever posted 4 on his website and then sold it. Maybe I should write some for my own sites.

ACR had "Promo Bucks" where if you played 200 hands in a night you would get $25 or $50 in promo bucks. You could play with it but you had to work it off to cash out. It got abused badly and slowly the promo died. It was the ultimate bonus whoring experience.

Dobrosoft got bought or heavily involved with Futurebet who destroyed them. Luckily Poker World had deep pockets and paid their players but I think in the end all of the remaining Dobro skins that did not go to Ongame stiffed their players. I guess ACR was familiar with the software and figured out how to get their hands on it.

Yes, because Futurebet is the biggest scam still in this industry. Futurebet constanly rebrands itself, currently as far as I know, going by Gametech Solutions. Futurebet / Gametech Solutions has stolen stolen 100k+ from me and over 7 figures from people I know. Millions and millions stolen each time Futurebet / Gametech Solutions resurfaces and sticks their grubby little hands into the gaming industry.

Dobrosoft is now known as IG Soft. Matt Dobrosevic and his father are the founders with operations still based in Sofia, Bulgaria. For a while now they have been back and providing the software used by Enet and Winning Poker Network. Look at any skin of those networks and you'll find the software is almost the same, only updated with new added features.

I've been keeping a close eye on these crooks, because they hosted a site many years ago that abruptly shut down and took player funds with it.

Not sure how credible or not they are these days, but I began playing poker with their software and hold fond memories of it. Remember those unique features, like straddle ?

WPN bought or partnered with Dobro, at iGaming industry conferences, the senior Dobro is always with the WPN CEO(Phil) and wearing WPN apparel etc

You know, this is a great point. I need to ask them about the 100k+ that I was unable to recover when that network went under.

I've actually shared a cab with the person I think you are referring too but seemingly failed to remember the connection/ask about the demise of that network.
