Had an idea last night while I was pished (all my good ideas happen then, or so I think ) basically it was doing a £10 HU knockout tournament thing where we get 32 players, have a draw for round of 32 (so 16 heads up matches) then the 16 winners go onto last 16, then last 8, semi-finals and eventually final where either the winner takes all or top 2 get paid (or even top 3 if we do a 3rd place play-off like the world cup, England anyone? )

Would have to be done in the home game section on Stars. Not sure exactly how draws would take place etc, maybe someone would be nice enough to do a live twitch stream or something? (I'm useless with twitch) but it's just for a bit of fun and a laugh

This is just an idea, nothing is set in stone or anything and I doubt there would be much interest but there's no harm in asking

Pokerstrategy runs community HU championships from time to time (I reached the semifinals twice there , mostly by luck).

They're not much fun because players are busy doing their regular jobs, grinding more profitable games or spending time with their families, and it's sometimes difficult to arrange a match even when the deadline for the round is in one week.

Ah I suppose, I had the idea when I was a bit pished and usually all my ideas when pished are terrible but I woke up the next day and still thought it was a good idea for once

I'm doing one on Facebook, got 16 runners straight away so I assumed there would be a lot more interest in a big poker forum lol.
