Poker sites are like banks, or cryptoexchanges, their security must be evolved over time, it cannot be secure out of the box on every vector. There is a tradeoff as to what can be secure initially and what must be developed over time.

Josem couldn't play a role until there was an established site and now as he says he is a security advisor or something. In return for this not being a solved problem there is a lot of free money being pumped into the games and there is an equilibrium trade off. coinpoker can choose through these bonuses and by inflation targeting, to make the value of the tokens "worth it". And this is now Josem's realm and I have more faith in him than a random dev team I know nothing of and this team has shown they can deliver and adapt. Its true they have many bugs to fix, but they have made great strides and improvements and in that sense I think they have passed much of the most difficult part (other than player acquisition).

It won't take much now to set up a framework that cleans up the games, and it can be done programmatically now that it is a token based model.

So things seem to be going fine assuming Josem will put in a solid infrastructure for security.

HITBTC takes 132CHP for withdrawals!!!

What have u done coinpoker?
02-23-2018 , 06:31 AM
ok, I calculated about 20 bux for 123 chps at the hitbtc rate. Not sure if that is right but I understand now what you are pointing at. Then there is incentive for private trading. I think eth delta has very little fees (but probably low liquidity) atm. It will be interesting to see what other exchanges will offer chps. Hitbtc is really going to only be usable for large amounts unless they adjust the fee.
02-23-2018 , 06:53 AM
hitbtc is ****ty, etherdelta is to hard to use for newbies in the crypto game

they really need to team up with some serious mainstream exchange.

otherwise this side will die.

I cannot speak for others, but whatever your ideas of the week were years ago were lost amid your unique, disjointed, sticky note on wall guy posting style (and your dozens of banned accounts). "Wacky Nash Guy" is pretty much what I (and likely most others) remember who experienced you before.

Once I heard Nash Guy I knew you were not a shill, because no company would ever hire you to be an official spokesperson given your history, but I understand how others with minimal past exposure to you would think you are a standard shill by your recent posts.

I have zero issue with you posting, and it seems the mods are fine as long as you contain those voices better, but it is good for everyone (including you) if others know what you are, and I will be shocked if this startup works with you in any direct capacity, because you are quite disruptive as you pursue your latest obsession. Even in this thread one can see the hot and cold if your reactions.

Anyway, Nash it up as you see fit, but try to keep your equilibrium constant.

All the best.

Cheers.

ethdelta is down so I think there is only hitbtc and allcoin. allcoin has no fees for buying and .2% for selling I believe.

NooseKnot congrats on reaching the 1k posts on a single account. That is an accomplishment I never thought I'd see.

All joking aside he should have a place on 2+2. His thoughts and opinions are contrary to many but that is the essence of allowing free speech.

chat.coinpoker.com is officially closed as of today. only telegram and forums now.
So, i post it here although i don't think anyone from coinpoker will see it. they seem to have abandoned both 2p2 and bitcointalk threads. On bitcointalk thread a user almost daily promotes a bot and he's not banned.

So yet again I got this email:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us.

We would like to inform you that your CHPs were successfully credited from Spectrocoin account to CoinPoker on 30th of January. We also sent you confirmation e-mail regarding this on the same day. The reflection of CHP that you see on Spectrocoin account will be resolved soon.

Best of luck at the tables.

Kind regards,

Stating that I should have received coins from Spectrocoin into my Coinpoker account yet I never have as I still have my balance on Spectrocoin account. At this point I would avoid this site and not deposit any more money, they have effectively robbed me of 12800 CHPS (or whatever the USD equivalent is now, hopefully zero so this site shutsdown....)

Maybe not the best thread for it, but regardless I think maybe any help you get should be done publicly. Anyways if you get stuck there is enough experience in this forum to help you.

Thanks for the replies but I am asking about something different.

I have successfully verified my account, cashed out some CHP which now sit in my MetaMask.

I have also added CHP tokens to my MetaMask.

My question is how do I send them to an exchange. I have an allcoin account and know the address to send them to, but on MetaMask I have the option to send ETH but when I go to the Tokens section I can't see how to send them.

FWIW I have already emailed CoinPoker to ask this question but they just told me to ask MetaMask. I'm new to this technology and presuming there will be others here in the same situation.

I would have thought that a site with a totally new way of doing things that involves setting up various accounts in different formats and learning how to transfer between them would prioritise communicating with customers, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

I see JoseM posting this morning in a thread about PartyPoker's security, two hours after the list of possible multiaccounters on Coin was published, but he hasn't posted in this thread since the 9th February.

The last post from any Coin Rep was 11th February.

Maybe they should hire Nooseknot, he seems more interested in communicating with their customers than they are.

I've been enjoying playing on this site and I want it to succeed but they need to learn how to communicate and engage with their customers.

@sirin,

As far as I know, MetaMask does not have a default user interface for sending tokens. Use MEW for this.

log into your metamask at this link: https://www.myetherwallet.com/#send-transaction

Then add the tokens to your mew wallet view: https://coinpoker.com/assets/img/how....jpg?v20180118

here is a text version of the addy so you can copy it: 0xf3db7560e820834658b590c96234c333cd3d5e5e

You can verify it matches the picture. And here you can verify it on etherscan: https://etherscan.io/token/0xf3db756...34c333cd3d5e5e

then get the chp addy from your allcoin, and send from your metamask wallet, but using myetherwallet (mew). You choose a drop down for your tokens, once you have successfully got them to display.

It costs eth to send, put the gas limit to like 60,000 or something, maybe that's too much but you don't want to little or you end up donate gas (excess is returned, as I understand).

That email seems to suggest that your chps have been sent to your ethereum address/wallet, and that the spectrocoin balance is a bug. Perhaps.

So think maybe you are having issues finding your chps on your eth wallet. Have you logged into myetherwallet.com? https://www.myetherwallet.com/#view-wallet-info

And you have to also manually enter the chps details to actually be able to view them: https://coinpoker.com/assets/img/how....jpg?v20180118

Again you would have to add this: 0xf3db7560e820834658b590ac96234c333cd3d5e5e

I haven't hear of problems otherwise with spectrocoin and i know people that have gotten their chps from it.

maybe I'm naive, but is there a valid explanation why it's so expensive (approx. $23-24) to withdrawal CHPs? Is it because they are the only current exchange trading them?

It nothing much to do with CHP or CoinPoker, HitBtc have very high withdraw fees for all ETH tokens.
Allcoin is trading CHP also for 20 CHP withdraw fee.

Thanks for the help, I followed these instructions and everything went well..

So once I have CHP and ETH in my allcoin, how do I go through the final step and convert it into fiat and transfer it into my bank account?

I see there is a withdrawl function but obviously I can't withdraw CHP or ETH straight into my bank account.

Apologies for all the tedious questions but when you're new to this it really is quite confusing and I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering about this stuff.

Thanks again.

it would depend on what country you are in, you would transfer eth or bitcoin etc. to an exchange that support withdrawals to your bank.

Is someone here that could help me to activate my wallet, i will pay back the amount of ETH needed in CHP, plus interest.
I would really appreciate if someone could help!

Etherdelta looks like it has be forked by those that want to keep it running. They are now trading chp: https://forkdelta.github.io/#!/trade/CHP-ETH

I tried it out, I think its feeless other than the cost of doing transactions on ethereum.

For people that have never used crypto it might be a little daunting, but everyone has used a mew wallet and perhaps metamask and there is not much more to it. You deposit eth onto ethere delta and then click the red orders if you want to buy or the green if you want to sell. It's quick.

I notice the prices across the three exchanges are fairly equal now.

You will need ethereum and chp, and for that you need a wallet from https://www.myetherwallet.com/

create a wallet, then make sure you can sign back into it (ie dowload and save the json and the password etc.

Then post your public address, ill send a small amount of each.

I sent 10 chp i think, i meant to send 1 ;p

and I sent about 1usd which should be enough for you to send your chp validation transaction. good luck.
02-24-2018 , 03:52 PM
That was fast, and easier then i expected )
I also made a withdrawal, wich was also quick, but now i don't have enaugh eth to send you back some chps.

I will buy monday some eth (i'm hunting some cheap hot alcoins), and i will send you then, or if it's possible to send me some eth again and i could send back chps tonight.

Is there a way to mute specific players in chat?
