yup i can confirm this, we did a chp transfer. And then same admin i talked to yesterday now clarified that if you verify this way you can then claim your eth prize

I don't necessarily have any more chps to send but if anyone is having issues they can pm, or write in this chat or go to the telegram chat, they seem to have the issue better understood now.

This is incorrect and it would take reading a couple of other posts here for you to know that. You were just so excited to jump into licking CPs boots that you didn't bother figuring out what's going on. I in fact have verified my wallet with them, and am waiting to see if they just have poor email support and misinformed chat support, and will actually pay me.

It says a lot about a person when they are so excited to jump to the side of a company trying not to pay something to someone who won it that they don't even bother finding out the facts before coming in and insulting that person and defending the company. You even made up stuff that you think is written on their wallet section to explain your mindless worldview. You are fake news.

I'm not even convinced now they meant it to be a rule that you needed to participate in the ICO. I think rather it is the tier 2 support that isn't as knowledgeable as tier 1, and that tier is to be to handle individual cases in a timely manner etc.

The team clearly means to be moral imo...

I think what happens is you spend so much time building a poker client thinking you will build everything around it and you forget that the time you need the most support is at the beginning. But they are building a bigger team and I suspect someone will realized the important of having support for the players in order.

Also we should keep in mind this crowsale was novel in many ways. It was an experiment and it was novel.

Managing to find a workaround to subvert their intentions doesn't make me wrong. CHPs can even be bought on Etherdelta already, but that doesn't mean CoinPoker didn't want this promo to incentivise people to take part in the ico.

I never started out trying to defend CoinPoker, they've done so many things wrong since they launched their freerolls in December. The rush at being first to market before Virtue Poker and Cash Poker pro has been haphazard at best. All I have done was correct your claims that the terms said nothing on your proclamations.

I can't find chp on etherdelta what should i be looking for other than chp?

edit: I found it by choosing other and putting in the contract details this is the link to the order books: https://etherdelta.com/#0xf3db7560e8...33cd3d5e5e-ETH

I'm crossposting this in three threads because i think it is very interesting and significant.

So if you need chips you can buy them here.

Do I understand the prices correctly there, that 20-100x lower then ICO? (I'm big noob in these crypto exchanges and such)

If that were there intention, stating it in such a roundabout way would be extremely unethical. Other gambling sites do similar promotions where depositors can win one thing and f2p players can win another, but they always make that very clear, especially if they send a promotional email to all players proclaiming the prize. In fact, in a regulated western market im pretty sure an email like that would constitute false advertising if it didn't have a disclaimer stating who was eligible for the prizes.

On Bitcointalk a guy who has run 3 successful crypto gambling sites even said he found the email to be confusing or misleading if it were the case that deposit was required.

On top of that, if they had a clear policy of requiring deposit, why would their support continually ignore me when i asked that question in ths emails i included here.

Youve been so wrong repeatedly here but you keep going. Their support today in fact have said that it was not their intention to require ICO participation. I'm not sure why you keep bothering to post such ill-informed opinions on thing a that have factual answers in this situation. Its extremely tedious havjng to respond to your incorrect statements so anyone coming into this thread doesnt misunderstand the situation.

For anyone who is stuck not able to withdraw winnings because they haven't verified their CoinPoker cashier account, here is a step by step:

1. You have to have an ERC20 compatible Ethereum wallet. This means that you can send various tokens to your ethereum wallet, including CHP. MyEtherWallet is a good web based ERC20 compatible ETH wallet.

Go to https://www.myetherwallet.com/

Create a new wallet.

Save your Private Key. Never give your private key to anyone!

2. Have someone transfer a small amount of CHP to your wallet. Give them your public address, not your private one!

3. After you've received the CHP, you need to add the custom token on your ETH wallet. You already have the token but you aren't able to send or receive it until you add it.

Click on the "Add custom token" button and enter the following values:

Token Contract Address: 0xf3db7560e820834658b590c96234c333cd3d5e5e

Token Symbol: CHP

Decimals: 18

4. Now that you've added CHP to your MyEtherWallet, you are able to send a small amount to the CoinPoker cashier to verify your account.

Go to the CoinPoker cashier in the client. There will be a message there telling you exactly how much CHP to send to the cashier and the ETH address to send it to. Also, make sure you set the gas limit they ask you to(I think it is 60,000).

5. Now you are verified! You should be able to withdraw CHP from the CoinPoker cashier to your MyEtherWallet.

I've been playing quite a bit on here the last few days. Mostly have been playing the cash games, and sometimes the freerolls. I've enjoyed it, and the software seems fairly good. There are plenty of quality of life changes which should be done, though.

Here are my suggestions:

  • Add an option to remember my preferred seat. The "rotate seats right" button at the top right will suffice for now, but doing this over and over again for every table gets tiresome, especially as a multitabler.
  • Some of the sound effects are a bit too sharp/loud IMO. It actually bothers my ears, and I have to turn down my headset from its normal volume. I tried using Windows Volume Mixer to specifically turn down the volume of the CoinPoker client/tables, but it just automatically resets it. Please add some sound options in the settings.
  • It would be very helpful to have some hand results information outputted to either the chat box or to a new tab next to the chat and info tabs. Such as "Player123 wins pot ($20)." When I'm multitabling, I can't always watch the results of every hand, so this would be nice.
  • Let us make notes for players, and perhaps labels as well. I believe this was already mentioned, but yeah.
  • Add a "join waiting list" button for full tables to the cash games table list. That would be a MUCH easier way of joining multiple waitlists instead of having to open each table.
  • Add Players/Flop, Avg Pot, and Hands/hr stat columns to the cash games table list.
  • Sorting by Blinds in the cash games table list doesn't sort entirely correctly. First there's a NL500 table, then some NL100 tables, then some NL200 tables.
  • Neither the client nor the tables are able to be minimized/maximized by clicking on their bar on the Windows taskbar, which isn't normal. This isn't a huge deal, just a small inconvenience.

I personally have to play with the sound muted as it's extremely loud if i have the sound where I need to watch twitch while playing (which i usually do)
There also seems to be no way to mute chat or players, i've had people spam chat and it's annoying and distracting when it's coming up on the table.

Oh, this is something I hadn't considered. I'm not sure about that. How much Ethereum do you need to have for gas?

Yes 60.000 gas = 0.000000041 ETH
01-28-2018 , 12:06 PM
OK, I sent you 0.0000001 ETH. Hopefully this is enough for you.

Hello, first of all thank you for what are you doing. I discover another problem
that's unbeliavable .... but this is it

MEW don't allow me the transaction cause of this:
Gas Price: 41 GWEI (0.000000041 ETH)
Max TX Fee: 0.00246 ETH (2460000 GWEI)

seems that you should have 0.00246 eth to cover the maximum tax fee. It's really quite complicated, i'm novice about crypto value, but i think that's really complicated....
(((
01-28-2018 , 12:37 PM
OK, I can send you .003 ETH but you will need to repay me with CHP. I think 12 CHP should cover both the ETH and the CHP I send.

If you want me to do this, tell me OK.
