So the big selling point of cryptopoker - security. Lol I would say reading the posts here. I really hope this project fails somehow in a way that these people don't make too much money.

So, someone guessed your nickname and your password at the same time?
Yes you should post the players name. It is just a nickname.

BTW: Why is there no option to change your password on coinpoker? Also my witdrawl jut got rejected as mentioned.
Where can you see when a transaction was initiated? It took a whole while for my transaction to get validated...

Just out of fun I checked if there were some pending transactions to the Coinpoker address where you validate your wallet. There was one, already for several hours pending... It would have been very easy to become owner of that wallet by just paying enough transaction fee...

Damn. I'm locked out of my account. They want me to verify by SMS but I can't because I am out of cell phone range and on satellite internet. Has anyone else had to do SMS verification?

I did it yesterday, worked just fine. Today, the system doesn't send the sms with the code. I am locked out too, today.
As i can see on twitter, other players are locked out too

Wait, you're telling me we have to log in using SMS every time? We weren't given any warning about this? Now I can't play the Crypto Series because of this.

I checked their Telegram group. Many accounts were stolen. Wallets have wrong verification addresses. P2P Transfers are being made without the owner initiating it. This SMS verification is a first counter measure to avoid more people losing their CHP. Every time the Coinpoker app detects that you are at a "new" location, you will have to verify via SMS.

To be honest: it's a complete security mess and I don't think CHP can recover from this, I hope I'm wrong as I like the project/software up till now.

I think it's on every login. 2FA it's very nice imo.
Contact them, maybe they will provide you with a temporary solution.

2FA is fine. I would prefer Google Authenticator though. Forcing me to use SMS when I am not at home is not OK. I won't be able to play the Crypto series because of this because I won't be home for 2 weeks. I sent them an email but I'm expecting one of those ******ed replies where they don't even read the email.

So I talked with the Rep on Telegram....he said that the forced SMS is an error and will be removed. People who have already verified with Civic will not have to do SMS verification. People who are unverified will have the option to use Civic or SMS. So I should be OK to play in the Series.

SMS verification still not working - Not sending out code and still not heard back from several emails sent yesterday regarding my balance been stolen.

Added to that Coinbase taking ages to verify my bank details after sending £12 SEPA payment. Can,t seem to get a response from them either

I,m a recreational player and can,t see many others like me going through all this hassle just for a game of poker when its so much easier on other sites

I agree. I think it was a mistake for them to use a token that is dependent on the Ethereum blockchain. They should have developed an independent crypto with its own blockchain. They are forcing people to jump through so many hoops to play poker, they have to buy Ethereum, buy CHP, open an ethereum wallet, back it up properly so they don't lose their coins, verify their coinpoker account. This is a lot to ask of people who aren't familiar with crypto. It isn't a problem for me because I am a crypto investor and trader but for the non-crypto player this can be frustrating. They should have a bunch of support people available to walk people through any problems they encounter and make sure their wallets are secure etc. To top it off they suddenly force us to use SMS verification that isn't working...and this happens a couple days before their big Crypto MTT Series! 2FA is a great thing but it should be voluntary same as other poker sites, not forced on us.

The CoinPoker Rep. is absent on 2+2 but I was able to contact a Rep. on their Telegram channel so I would suggest people use Telegram to try and get results if support doesn't answer. He assured me that the SMS problem would be fixed and he also said I would receive an email from support but I still haven't received one yet.

They now, exchange ETH to CHP within the app, @ current market value.

https://medium.com/@CoinPoker/app-up...r-49b8a0cd9538

As i understand, exchanged chp's will be from their own wallet https://etherscan.io/address/0x84af6...f442#tokentxns which now holds 14.4 mirrion chp's.

That must be bad for chp price, no? rofl

I still can't confirm my account. I clicked on the email they sent to verify and it said I was verified in the browser, but when I try and login to the client it says "account not confirmed". It's been like this over a week. Are people actually playing on this site?

This doesn't make sense to me. It takes more than an email to verify your account. You have to send a small, specific amount of CHP to the cashier to verify...then you need to use civic or SMS. There is a specific process that's outlined on their web site. Have you done all that?

How can I access cashier? I can't even login. When I first signed up, they sent me an email to confirm my address, and I clicked on the link, and it said confirmed in the browser, but wouldn't let me login via the client. I have an old phone, I can't use civic.

I found another tutorial on medium that said when "registering" select the SMS option, if you have an old phone, but the link to register is just coinpokers main site, which I assume, means downloading the client, and when you do that, there's no option that I see during registration to select an SMS option(and wasn't when I signed up 2 weeks ago). I emailed support about this on the 15th and they replied yesterday with something unhelpful relating to civic.

Took a couple of days but got my balance re-funded

Now to try a withdrawal for the 1st time. Wish me luck

Oh I see. You can't even get to the point where you can verify because you can't even log in. You're going to need CoinPoker support to help you with that.

You can try their Telegram channel. there are CoinPoker admins there who respond to people looking for help. It is quicker than email support.

Their telegram channel is:

A few hours ago, i logged in normally.

Now i am trying to login again and i get the message "invalid client version

a new version of software is available, press ok to reload
".

When i press ok the client reloads (doesn't download any new version) and keeps giving me the same message.

Anybody else having this problem?

Anyone had success with withdrawing yet.

I thought I saw on this thread some say their withdrawal was pending.

Where does it say its pending

On my transaction history it just says the amount I,ve withdrawn with a little arrow to the left.

I withdrew a few hours ago but can,t see anything in MEW
05-27-2018 , 08:40 AM
Success at last - Only took me an hour but managed to get my withdrawal back to MEW and then onto IDEX where I sold my CHP,s. - then finally back to my coinbase account. Just hope Coinbase will finally verify my bank details now even though they,ve accepted my payments

I,ll keep an eye on the price and if it goes right down might buy again but doubt I,ll ever play on there again, unless they make the whole deposit and withdrawal process much easier and with less charges and transaction fees
