I don't think that there is a single law anywhere that makes it illegal for anyone in the US to gamble online, (apart from some [local?] law in Washington that I've seen mentioned a few times).
As I stated above, there is possibly a downside risk for CP to answer that question in print. If you go through all the motions, truthfully, and end up playing on CP, you will have answered the question for yourself.
There's a financial risk to everyone playing at any online poker site, wherever they live, for a number of known reasons. Being arrested or fined isn't one of them. I expect that most people follow the simple rule of never keeping more money at a site than they can afford to lose, and being able to deposit and withdraw very quickly and easily makes things even easier for everyone.
