I'll try to answer all the questions you guys already asked me, but first off let me start by saying "F you Karmabling", if you think I'm full of it, just ignore this thread and move on.

I am not an internet "noob". My password contained a combination of letters, numbers and special characters, which was a random code that was not guessable. He got my e-mail from the Full Tilt forum and is a computer hacker who can hack into e-mails. I thought maybe the guy was full of crap, so I gave him a random other e-mail that I created with a complicated password to hack and he had the hacked it by the next afternoon. The only "files" I have downloaded on my computer is Holdem Manager, Smart Buddy, Skype, camtasia, AIM, Windows Live Messenger, Norton Internet Security, Pokerstove, Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars. I have downloaded no other programs, and accepted no other attachments. He was able to get into my Full Tilt and PokerStars account my clicking the "forgot password" button and having a new password sent to my e-mail.

If you would like my account name on Full Tilt (as nation asked), PM me and I will gladly give it to you. I'll gladly answer any question, and NO, I'm not looking to try to get you to talk to me on AIM like Karmabling suggests.

google "how to hack hotmail"

Looks like there are some hacker tools for brute force password guessing.

Also there seems to be a more elegant method for gaining passwords.

There even seems to be a youtube walkthrough for doing this.

I didn't try any of these methods but from what I read it seems pretty easy to do.

My suggestion is to register your email account to something more obscure than hotmail.

Yea, I just got access back to my account earlier tonight. I have registered a completely new e-mail from a different provider. If I am an internet noob for using hotmail, my apologies. I was actually told hotmail was the most secure e-mail to use awhile back by a source involved in computer science. I guess he was wrong.

To be able to hack an e-mail account, first you need to know this e-mail account.

Create a new random ffu43epl5a2mb41lyprah7mm@whatever.com and assign this e-mail to your FTP account. Do not use it for anything else than FTP.

Good luck hacking that.

I'll post again for the interweb n00bs like urself and others.

1. if you have 12k in your acct then you have enough money to spend $600 and have a workstation for only poker. Only poker = only poker. no web surfing, no pr0n, no email, no nothing. It has windows and poker clients only and thats it. You set the windows updates to occurr daily on this box and you are fine.

2. change your poker client passwords monthly and have them 10 characters min and have a capital letter, number and symbol contained in the password.

3. change your windows password monthly as well following rules from #2.

failure to do the above = no sympanthy from me because you're an idiot.

Karma
Or just buy one quad core PC with 8G RAM (as little as 500$ nowadays) and use separate isolated VMs (without joint network, uninstall microsoft client services) for Poker, p0rn, etc. You can even make it so that the host has no internet access at all, and only the VMs have.

You have all the information you need if you have his screenname on MSN. It's possible to get microsoft to extract his ISP. Contact them with the security issue and request real-life information.

Might be harder to do anything if he's in australia, but a buddy of mine got caught hacking stupid **** like this in the states. They got his AIM and it was all over after they traced his ISP. No 16-year old is smart enough to use a zombie computer to instant message.
