Today Pokerstars Froze my account. I sent them email and this was their reply. No other pokerstars account had ever been logged from my PC, I never used an illegal program while i was playing, i really do not know what close asociation means promotion abuse, ofcourse i never had second acount .I do not know what to expect after this email. Did anyone reiceve ever tha same email?

am from Greece and as i remember they were Russian or Ukranian .

By everything i wrote this is your question? Because i am a kind person so let me answer you, i live in a town greece far away from cazinos which offer many poker options, many sites in Greece are illegal even know,i live in a poor family. I was building a bankroll for 9 months at nl5(12bb/100),nl10(6,5bb/10) and reached 3300$ and i was trying to become better with coaching. If you can give me advise it would be really helpfull . I know the first thing to think is that i have done something illegal. I believe i did not but even if idid THEY DO NOT inform me what it is . Seems pretty obvious that OP got his other half, children, parents, pets and dead pets to all make accounts to use the first deposit bonus more than they should, probably also registering for the million on winning days to avoid tax in the process

You're being accused of multi-accounting and/or colluding with other players.
When Pokerstars wrote to you, did they ask you if you were associated with any other specific screennames? (They usually ask something like "What is your relationship with PlayerXXXXX and PlayerYYYYYY?")

In some cases, they don't need to ask, because it's obvious from your playing history that most/all of your games were on the same tables as your buddies/family members.

The email doesn't say they've confiscated your balance. Did they allow you to withdraw your funds? Where are the other emails? You need to show them all or it doesn't wash.

You agreed to PokerStars' Terms & Conditions. They do not have to demonstrate with 100% certainty that you broke their rules, they can close accounts without giving a reason & many sites in the general gambling world will close accounts without giving a reason - for example if you are a winning bettor

Perhaps you can make a case in law if they confiscated your funds, but clearly they have not done so.

Yeah, if no money is being confiscated, then OP should save his energy and move on.

of course they took myfunds 3300$ the main reason i am devastated is i do not know why. I am 31 years old maths teacher and of course i will move one with my life, the main reason i post this is because of the way they treated me wich is unrespectfull at least. Why dont you post the names of your and the other accounts? I have a feeling that other accounts are greek allso. And if youre innocent it doesnt really matter if your friends account is banned. Stars can ban yours allso in that case.

PokerStars didn't mention that in the email exchange you published in this thread! Freezing or outright closing an account doesn't mean that they've seized your account balance. When they seize funds I think they explicitly say so as in this RANDOM EXAMPLE from another 2+2 thread: It is equally strange that you didn't say to them "I want my funds!"

In one of your weird emails to Stars Security you seem to be saying that you hunted some players because they are bad players & that's why you are sitting with them. [01] Stars Security do not mention poker or playing poker. Are you sure this is about poker?
[02] Did you sit with the same players all the time? Many times?
[03] If not why mention these players?
[04] In Greece is PokerStars' Casino allowed?
[05] In Greece is BetStars allowed?
[06] If [04] or [05] are allowed have you used them? In other words - do you ONLY play poker on the PokerStars software?
[07] Have you been trying to clear any PokerStars deposit or betting bonuses? Or have you said "yes" in the s/ware to any other types of promotions?
[08] Have you ever sent or received money to/from other peoples accounts using the PokerStars Player-to-Player transfer system?
[09] Have you withdrawn funds recently?
[10] Have Stars actually said they've seized your funds? I don't see it in the emails. They only say they'll seize your funds if they catch you opening a new account.

My dear friend 4 years ago Pokerstars froze my acount for 3 days, but they said that they were investigating a case and when they finish invastigation they will take further action. This time they also froze my acount but you can clearly
read by their emails that they had no intention of investigation . They just informed about that.

When you wrote "always checking to achieve it" in your email to Stars Security I didn't understand what you had written. Now I do. In summary these 'Russians/Ukrainians' were...

Creating new accounts [according to PokerStars' email to you]
Then they sit together & play poker in such a way as to clear the daily Pyramid Puzzle Promotion in the cheapest & quickest way

This is a LOT of trouble for not much reward. I've just looked at the payout table & it's a daily average EV of +$1.74 - it doesn't make sense that Stars Security are monitoring this "Promotion Abuse" as they call it & it also doesn't make sense that people are creating accounts just for this promotion. There is something else going on with these new accounts that you are unaware of I think.

In the other hand i apreciate that PS after my requests investigated again my case .I have to thank at least the members in the pokerstars support who did not believe my emails where just a waste of time. And also saw that through my hole career as a grinder i never caused such problems.
