I'll try sending in some ID, but you'd think they would have asked me for it by now and I'm bound to have sent it in on my first cashout years ago. I've got nothing from them apart from what i pasted, and I ask for more info every week.

Account is still locked, they didn't even mention the fact that its been locked now for over 14 weeks.

I've sent another email now asking for my weekly update, which will no doubt get the same reply as before.

Why ask for another update??? Why not ask why your account is locked--nothing more nothing less. Then proceed with what they answered--Your weekly update doesn't seem to be working so just ask WHY and then wait for their reply

I've asked that question many times over the last 14 weeks. Always the same reply:

I could go on...what could possibly take 14 weeks for a routine security check? I asked live chat if this could go on for years and they said it could.

Wow? Strange. Time to quit playing nice and demand your money now. Tell them that you have contacted a lawyer, etc.

Seems like its completely out of Boyles hands they have to wait for ipoker, and ipoker just aren't doing anything with it for some reason. No idea how to contact ipoker directly

fwiw, if you have not contacted a lawyer, and have really no intention of doing so, then telling a site that you have contacted one is pretty much the worst thing you can do. As nearly every site will make all further correspondence go through their legal department. This will be even slower to deal with than their normal support, and they might not even talk to you unless your correspondence is actually from a lawyer/solicitor

Not sure if I agree with you. It's been 3 months already. If OP is squeaky clean and shown no signs of impropriety, why not have a lawyer send them an e-mail?

It is was me, there is no way I would ever play again on a site that locked my account for 3+ months for no reason, so now all we would be discussing is getting the money.

What else can he do? Wait?

Of course, there is usually more to the story.

It might be better to go thru whoever "regulates" Boyles, or its network, first. Although it will prolly amount to nothing, it is free and there is a chance that it could work.

Lawyers are expensive, you may have to pay them up front, so depending on a bunch of factors (primary one being how much $$ is locked up on the site) it may not be worth it.

Coming to 2+2, explaining everything in full, including posting of username, stats and all emails to and from the site, probably gets more traction than the EV of trying with a lawyer or gaming commission

And you can get the contact details of the top Ops/Game Security iPoker guys pretty easily from Linkedin. If the OP wanted to go this route. Anything other than an incredibly polite, to the point, email to any of them would be pointless

18 weeks. Still no further information. I've pasted the emails, there are more but they are just copy/pastes of the same thing.

I don't use linkedin, is it really worth a go?

Thanks

Sometimes it comes down to the 'principal' of the matter. Not going to cost much to have a lawyer send them a certified letter threatening legal action.

If OP is squeaky clean, why would Boylepoker get into a long drawn out legal battle where they would have to also pay lawyers?

It appears that Boylepoker is just going to ignore OP and hope that he goes away. Yeah it sucks to have to pay a lawyer but it has now come down to the principal of the matter.

Many thanks for contacting Customer Support.

Apologies for the delay this has taken, the reason that your account was initially blocked was because you were not adhering to the networks table policies, basically you were sitting out at too many tables at a time.

The investigation is now complete and we are happy to say that your account has been unblocked and you are free to use it again as such.

Again please accept our sincerest apologies for the delay that this has taken to be resolved.

Hello!Today, faced with the incomprehensible and unpleasant situation in boylepoker. User last, I made a deposit today, sent to them all the documents they have requested, and sat down to play. I played two tournaments of the SnG and all of a sudden get a lock during the game! Support can not really say anything, only standard answers.according to some posts, it is standard practice- they block and ignore. anyone else solved this problem and where you can write a complaint to them that they started really moving? thanks

Hi guys,

I am looking for help regarding recent events with boylepoker. Any advice is very welcome about how to deal with Boylepoker, UK gambling commission, IBAS (and IPoker?). Especially how to reach the right people at Boylepoker and/or get the right information. I never had my account blocked, closed or banned by any poker site in 14 years. So, first time dealing with this stuff.

cliffs
- playing mid- to highstakes PLO on Boyle for years
- account closed without even getting an e-mail or call (probably between September 23rd and 25th) to this day
- not getting any information other than "management decision"
- not able to cash out after closure
- speaking to management, senior staff member, security department repeatedly denied by phone support
- phone supporter confirmed my account balance (8750.36€) on September 26th
- other phone supporter stated September 30th that there is no money to be seen in the account and there is no record of any transaction since July 30th - 8750.36€ stolen from me by Boylepoker? Where has that balance gone?

what happened

I last played on Boyle on the 21st or 22nd. I tried to log into my boylepoker account September 26th about 1am BST and saw a message in red "error account closed. Please contact [...] email or by phone [...]"

So, I called them immediately and spoke to a supporter who did not have a lot of info. I only got to know that it was a management decision and I was not able to withdraw my roll with the supporter on the phone. He also confirmed the funds on my poker account correctly. So, no idea if it is temporarily blocked, under investigation, banned, got hacked or what is going on. I was told that it will be escalated to the management and that I will probably get an email.
I did not get any e-mail before or after the account was closed btw.

As nothing happened in 4 days I tried to call support again September 30th and asked for information and cashout. I did not get through to the management and was also informed that the poker and betting account are both empty! And the support guy did not believe me and assumed that I withdrew all my funds on my last cashout in July. So, my 8750.36€ are just gone?

What I did after the call with support apart from being extremly shocked and worried about my money:
1) Tried to call UK Gambling comission for help/advice but I only queued for 25 minutes and never spoke to someone before office hours were up. They are closed tomorrow. So, trying Friday again...

2) found https://www.ibas-uk.com/ and wanted to raise a complaint there. It is stated there that I should try everything to speak a senior staff member or similar before as the complaint using IBAS might take longer. So, will probably wait for a couple of days if anything comes from Boylepoker and then raise a complaint at IBAS

3) sent an e-mail to Boyle and asked for it to be directed to the management. Let's see if that returns anything

4) I raised a GDPR request to get access to all the data they have on me. I hope that works

A bit about me:
UK-resident, playing PLO on Boyle for 7 years+, never had any problems, winning player throughout with decent ev-bb-winrate (mainly playing 1/2 and 2/4 but also from 0.5/1 to 5/T) but not a ton of volume. Have only played a couple of hands there in 2018 and 2019. Playing more or less daily in 2020 and before 2018. Winning nice chunks thanks to coronaboom March to July. First cashout in years about 3 months ago without problems, followed by 2 others shortly after (25k€ total). Not aware of anything that I could have done wrong. I use Pokertracker as the only software while playing and due to my very different playstyle nobody with a brain should expect me to be a bot, use RTA or whatever. I play Pokerstars simultaneously. No bought hand histories, seating scripts, colluding aso. Only changes in the 3 last months are
1) I bought a new laptop and mainly playing on it (since ~3 weeks) but sometimes still playing with the old one (that I used the last ~6 years) at my girlfriend's place. Before that I played a bit at her place too but only played on my old laptop at both places (as I did not have the new one yet). Before you ask: No, she never had access to my poker accounts and she neither knows the rules nor is in any way tempted to try poker.
2) I cashed out around 3 quarters of my roll after not having made a cashout in years. Cashouts worked fine btw. Last one July 30th.
3) IPoker has anonymous lobby now to tackle predatory behaviour. If they put sth in behind the scenes like GG and just ban winning players/table selectors/bum hunters based on rules that are not communicated I could fall into that category

So, I would be happy about any advice what to ask for and how to proceed. Would love to play on IPoker again as it is the site where I have always been successfull the most but it might not be a good idea to open a new account on another skin I guess before everything is sorted out(?)

Anyone else with same or similar problem?

Any help very appreciated. Thank you guys

Hi XXX,

[...]

The decision to close your account was made by BoyleSports, and will not be reversed. We will not be in a position to offer further detail regarding this decision, but it is clearly stated in our terms and conditions, agreed to by you on sign up, that we reserve the right to withdraw our service to you at any time.

I apologise for any confusion regarding the return of your remaining account balance, and can confirm that the balance originally remaining on your poker account (8756.30) will be returned to you.

Please provide the following bank details

[...]

Kind regards,

Xxx

Thought about this as a reply. Would be very happy about comments and what else I should ask for. Any help very appreciated

Hi Xxx,

thanks for your reply.

Can you send the full amount of EUR 8756.30 to my Skrill account, please (Skrill account name)? It is in my name, it has been verified by your team and I made some cashouts that worked in July.

If Skrill is not possible, transfer the full amount to my Euro-account in Euros, please:

[Banking details]

I would appreciate if you could let me know how long it takes to process the transfer. Can I get an email when the money has been transferred, please?

I furthermore would appreciate very much if you could answer me following questions, please:

1) If I understood you right the decision has not been made by IPoker/Playtech but by Boylesports. Is there any pokersite in the IPoker network that I won't be allowed to have an account and play for real money on based on the decision to close my account by Boylesports? If so, which pokersite(s)? In other words, am I banned from the whole Ipoker network or just Boylepoker?

2) Am I allowed to open another account and play on Boylepoker?

Kind regards,
xxx

If it was Boyles that banned you, then they won't be able to answer the majority of this
