changed computers moved my 888poker folder my old documents onto this new computer, but the notes and icons on players are all gone.

how do I get them back what folder or file or whatever are they in and why didn't they get transferred over?

Still nothing new as far as 888 goes...how soon is soon if you don't mind?

on windows 7 its in the my documents folder, not in the appdata 888poker folder with everything else.

888, some quick questions:

1. Why is there no 888 forum? Is it just a matter of finances between 888 & TpT?

2. Since there is no forum, are all 888 related topics merged into this one thread?

3. Your software times players out too quickly!!! And it won't let me click the time-bank till after my time is almost out. Players should be able to click the time bank immediately.

4. Highly annoying that stack size is not always displayed for players. If they are sitting out, or acting, it changes what it displayed. Is there any way to fix this in the next update so that the player stack sizes are ALWAYS displayed?

Though I have more questions, I'll start with these. I hope you guys can address these key areas. Just started playing on 888 and looking forward to playing more! Thanks

I have another question.

Currently, it seems as if when you win a ticket to one of the steps, the site auto-registers you for the very next tournament. This is BAD IMO. A player may not be able to play the next tournament, and may want to play the day after, etc.

Is there any chance they will change this policy / feature so that players will be able to choose which tournament they are going to register for? Thanks again for the reply.

whilst playing online @ 888 i was drawn into some typical donkey banter with a rather cocky player who also seemed to be hitting every 3 outer possible.
after looking for his stats online it showed all 888 stats were locked and unavailable. suspicion hit obviously.
Whilst finding something suspicious and trying to draw information out of him i managed to provoke him into snapping a little.
He was quick to try and shift power by letting me know not just what COUNTRY i was playing in, but then identified which island of the country, which city, and EVEN which tiny village i live in. . .
he was correct about all of the information and even said his sister had visited my town last year.

after trying to inform the live support team i hit a brick wall and was literally ignored after being told ' we cannot help you resolve this issue'. that was that. ?

after emailing 888support expressing my concern i later received an email from what appeared to be a 10 year old basically fobbing off any concerns and trying to discard the matter.


here is the exact response i got.

we all know these companies are run out of tiny islands with no extradition or tax issues for a reason, yet we still feed them money.
I figured 888 might have been a little different as in my honest opinion there are a lot less river beats on there, though the 3 outers are ridiculous.

So its about to be oct 5th and ive yet to receive this "opt in" or "daily challenge" or "reload challenge" or whatever im supposed to get to get more tiks to the 1k daily freeroll.

aside from the first 2 tix they give to everyone ive received no more tiks or info on how to get anymore.

The weird thing about this promo is that the qualifications are different for everyone. My brother has different qualifications to get tickets than I do.

yeah its wierd. i was going to just try to play whatever amount we need to get tiks to try to see if they would send me tiks even though ive never got the opt in email (or whatever the ****?) but cant even give that a try. meh

i have gotten 4 more 1k fr tiks every time i have raked 100 hands. 3 - 5 times so far.

got the original email re: having 2 tiks already on 10/1 - looks like 3X 4 tiks so far plus original 2.

Yes they are individualy tailor made depending on your playing history so most players will be different. They are just trying to be fair to all.

There would certainly not have been any security leak as far as 888 are concerned.
He might have tried to transfer you some money and some of your details will come out for that and maybe he saw you previously writing other details in the chat box etc. That's the only way he would have known.
