They appear to assume that the money you are wagering is always from the bonus you received, so if you withdraw, you lose the bonus

The implication is that you should probably withdraw all or most of your funds before accepting any bonus offer if there is any vague likelihood that you might need to withdraw during the bonus terms completion period.
I'd guess that the terms were written originally on the assumption that they were aimed at new customers to their casino products, but no one has since realised that existing poker customers, with existing bankrolls, would be affected detrimentally by them.
