The $10K freerolls are really good. However, I have a zillion tickets for them.

I just want the money for my chips. If the software crashes do they get to keep everyone's buyin? Do they not have records of how many chips everyone had when it crashed? Do they have software to calculate the refunds due?

Not sure why it shouldn't cost them anything. It isn't their money. I guess it seems OK by the standards of US sites lately that take months to pay. However, I would like to see some assurances that the money will be paid or an explanation of how it is to be paid or something.

888 has been real generous with the freerolls and I am sure they don't intend to keep the buyins.

I checked my history and it has continued hand history for me til it busted me out logged off around 1350 hands deep.

Huh?

Yeah first and foremost I want my money back.

Really that much would be enough, although again I'm feeling burnt that I even had to make these posts and email them, which they have not responded to, but to be fair and disclose all truth, I only sent that email less then 2 hours ago.

But why wouldn't their system auto-refund and how are some being refunded and many left out as of now?

Timely?

Again, for me, this is more a concern of if this happens during a tourney or cash game with more substantial money at stake.

On a side note, how do you have so many tickets?

I got 2 for free, then nothing after that. I see you get 5 for any deposit, have you just made multiple deposits?

Re: 888poker USA (formerly Pacific Poker)

I was in $35 1k with 2 tables left when site crashed. After not receiving any refund, I just got off chat with 888 support. They didn't know much, I even had to tell them what time the crash happened. This is all I got, although i'm hoping its made fully right since over half the field was gone.

Shanelle R.: as a goodwill gesture i will refund you that $35

Where do you even find the chat?

All I can find is weak email support.

You have to go into cashier and click on it. These sites save support for people who are most likely to deposit.

On party/borgata, you have to actually attempt a deposit you know will fail, only then will support magically appear.

You sites may think you are sneaky, but you're not fooling all of us!

Re: 888poker USA (formerly Pacific Poker)

I got email saying they credited my account with $10 and a freeroll ticket. The tournaments I was in had buyins way more than that and I had big stacks.

I talked to support and they said it was scheduled maintenance. If that is what it is, they should inform people, not have tournaments running and not do it at peak times.

I think they are just not well organized as to how to handle this sort of thing. Again, most big sites automatically chop tournaments when this happens.

I know they are not trying to cheat people when giving away so much in freerolls, but they are making a significant profit when this happens when they don't fully repay players.

Party has skrill, but when I tried to move it onto site it said bc of my deposit method (chase bank) I would not be able to use it for online gambling. Going to AC may be your only option if ACH isnt working.

When you are playing on a tournament table is there a way to see the current tourney stats? Avg stack size and number of players remaining? I didn't see any icon to bring up this info. Also can you play more than one table? Great promo on the daily 10K free roll. Thx.

888 Rep,

WHy are there $5 non turbo sit and goes, but everything over $5 is turbo? It seems backwards to me...

Also to okterrific, if you play 5 MTT's in a day you get bonus tickets for the freeroll. It's actually worth it to buy in to 5 $1 tournaments even if you can't actually play them.

Re: 888poker USA (formerly Pacific Poker)

Is this how the worldwide 888 handles tournaments when the system crashes? I didn't know there were sites that didn't automatically chop the tournaments when that happened. I don't care that much about the $100 or whatever my chips were worth, but kind of ridiculous to send me $10 and a freeroll entry.

Stars has always immediately paid people if this happens. I think it would be better to announce how the payments are being made. As I understand it now, some people have been paid and some haven't.
Hi,

Sorry about that. Please message me your 888poker username and I'll escalate the issue on your behalf.

Thanks.

I truly believed that you and WSOP.com have the best software currently it's just a shame that in terms of sit and go traffic you are nowhere near borgata/party poker which has way inferior software. I'm not sure what you can do to change that besides maybe offering some type of huge rakeback promotion for those who earn a certain number of points. I think that's an even better promotion than just having rake free sngs because it encourages people to play a large quantity of games. Either way the site has big potential and thanks for listening for suggestions.
Bballwiz, thanks a lot for your continued feedback! We will continue to update our Sit & Go offering and I am sure it will be to your satisfaction. Continue to send us your feedback and we will continue to read and act accordingly. As was done previously, I will relay your current suggestions for S&Gs -thanks again.

By the way, how can we do RB on fee-free S&Gs? I believe that most (if not all) S&G players would rather fee-free instead of RB. In fact, fee-free is 100% RB on the S&Gs, don't you think that's better?

It was only $5, but this is the stuff that kills my confidence and trust in their site to make any significant deposits or play any big tourney's or bigger cash games.

How and why wouldn't they auto refund me?

I late registered around 20 minutes after the tourney started and was booted only maybe 10 minutes later at most when the site crashed. I tried to get back on for maybe an hour before I just said whatever and went to sleep, yet there's a complete hand history for well over 1000 hands and if you replay some, you can see everyone was sitting out.

Again, it's not even the $5, once the bugs are worked out of this site I'll also be playing much bigger buy in's, but it's principle and even more so, it's just troubling that my buy in is not being returned under these circumstances. What happens if the site crashes for hours minutes after I buy in to a $200+ tourney, or mid big hand on 1/2 or higher once player pools expand?

It just winds up they beat you?

888 has easily been my favorite so far, but stuff like this sours me quick.

Hey guys,

Let me first apologize on behalf of 888poker for all the, unintended, issues you have experienced with the downtime a couple of nights ago.

The tournaments should have cancelled; in which case, you would have all received an equal portion of the remaining prize pool in accordance with our house rules stated here: http://us.888poker.com/how-to-play/house-rules/ (see Tournament Cancellation Policy). For your peace of mind, there is a policy in place that covers these unfortunate incidents that occur from time to time.

The automatic cancellation did not happen; hence why we have the issue with the refunds. If by the time you are reading this, you have not been reimbursed yet, please PM me your 888poker username and tournament ID(s) you were in and I'll escalate the issue on your behalf.

Rest assured we will get this resolved to your satisfaction.

Thanks guys!

Heard you loud and clear sir -look for higher BI non-turbo S&Gs to be integrated into the offering as of today. We will continue to monitor and add more as we see the traffic increases to them.

Thanks for your feedback in this regard!

Re: 888poker USA (formerly Pacific Poker)

I got this from 888. It doesn't include $8 in rebuys. Plus the value of my stacks was over $100. Even with an even chop of remaining players I would get a lot more.

Quote:
We have reviewed your account and have noted that you were playing the ne following tournaments with ID # 119698, 119855, 119551, and 119861, which accumulated a total of $33 in buy-ins.

After taking all the above in consideration, we have decided to add the $23 to the $10 which was added to your account prior.

Hey Britesorb, you can get all these details by clicking on the Open Lobby button on the upper right hand corner of your current table.

Yes, you can play more than on table.

Happy to hear you like the $10k freerolls -I hope you are running odd in them!

Sole, you can get all the detaisl of our withdrawal policy here.

To give you a quick idea in case you are short on time:

Two days to process then up to 4 days to reflect in your account for bank transfer (ACH)
Two days to process then 2-5 business days once processed for bank drafts (if it's being delivered in the US)
Or we have cash withdrawals which is instant at a Caesars in Atlantic City

But please take the time to review the full policy as there is more info there.

Keep running good man!

Hi Boobjob32DD, I've escalated the issue to be looked into. My apologies for any and all inconveniences caused. Expect a correspondence from Support on this matter.

Hi FullTilt89, in keeping with our server outage policy, you should have had your money returned to you. If this was not the case, please contact our Support Team with the relevant details -i.e. your 888poker username, date and time of the occurrence as well as the stake(s) you were playing on. They will investigate the matter and act accordingly.

Hi,

The Support guys are unable to locate an account for you. Are you referring to an issue in the 888poker USA or is it in our European/ROW facing (888poker) site?

If it is the European site, then please contact support in that regard or PM me your support ID details to have investigated further.

Thanks.
