888 Rep,
Please get the Team to clarify today, IF the 888/WSOP sites allow usage of one site at a time like the competitors. Will we be unable to sign-in on both as we do now?

Clarify, IF we get knocked out of a Tournament, R&A or Freeze out, can we log out and re-enter on the other site?

If it is the same as the competitors, this means we can only have either WSOP open or 888 open at any one time?

It will be interesting to see the effect this has on cash games where players had been playing on both sites at the same time.

Will there be a new T&C for both sites?

When will we receive e-mails to explain details?

Players are always the last to know?

When will we see the new Tournament Lineup? Nothing yet showing. Last Tournament is at 23:10 tonight and a few of the weekly tournaments showing that aren't changing?

I am awaiting the full details myself and will update you all as soon as I get them.
I should imagine that emails will be sent out explaining it all for you though.

Is the merge cash as well, or only tournaments?

Will we be able to transfer money from our wsop handle to our 888 handle?

Probably.

Probably not - NJDGE rules and all.

We are waiting on the official announcement(s) from WSOP Bill and 888 Rep.

888 Rep has not gotten the details yet but does expect an e-mail to go out.

Looks like the 7 PM $10,000 R&A, $30 BuyIn is appearing on both sites for tomorrow night.

Online Poker Report says select tournaments and low-limit cash:

http://www.onlinepokerreport.com/150...-pool-players/

According to a WSOP representative, the two sites will combine their player pools at:

Low limit cash game tables.
Select tournaments collectively constituting a total of $130,000 in shared prize pools each week, suggesting that the large weekly tournaments will be among the tournaments tabbed for shared liquidity.

Just registered the WSOP 10k with my 888 name. Tried to register it, after that, with my WSOP name and it wouldn't let me. Software is legit. Am excited to see if we can surpass 200 entrants for the 10k Monday

Got an email telling me they updated their poker app.

Downloaded it on my s5 and low and behold they still could not verify me being in New Jersey.

Keep in mind I'm in AC less than a half mile from Caesars.

When are these fools going to get it together?

I'm a little confused about what is being done. Maybe my logic is wrong, but what is the point of just merging the lowest levels of both cash games and sngs? Logic dictates these are the levels that already have the widest variety of player pools. Isn't the idea to combine and help games that have lower varieties of player pools, which would be the higher buyin and stakes games?

I've read that, but for example 888 has those 2 $100 mtts that they call the high rollers or whatever. They run most of the time but sometimes are cancelled. For example if that tournament was crossed and offered on wsop as well i'd be way more likely to play it. That is an example of the type of thing I don't know why isn't being integrated on both.

The two are still in competition to differentiate. It is good that 888 has left their low end guaranteed freeze outs, at this point for example.

Like Borgata and Party offer their own separate promotions, WSOP and 888 are doing the same.

The timing to launch during the GSSS and before the BWO to bring attention to WSOP/888 is interesting.

OUR POKER JUST GOT BIGGER
888poker and WSOP.com have joined forces to bring you even more poker!
Starting today, January 12, we will be sharing player liquidity across selected cash games, Sit & Go’s, and several new MTTs (that will boost our weekly guaranteed prize pool by more than $130,000).
Below is a list of all our NEW shared games:
Cash games:
No Limit Texas Hold'em – All games with buy-ins up to $0.25/$0.50
Texas Hold'em Fixed Limit – All games with buy-ins up to $0.50/$1.00
Sit & Go’s:
All SNGs with buy-ins up to $5.00
New MTTs on 888poker, starting January 12, 2015:
$5,000 Nightly Guaranteed: 9pm EST
$10,000 Nightly Rebuy: 7pm ET
$10,000 Sunday Guaranteed: 8pm EST
$25,000 Weekly Sunday Guaranteed: 3pm EST
Regarding player experience and other questions, here are some clarifications:
You will be able to sign in to both sites at the same time just as you do now, you will not be able to join the same shared table or tournament with 2 different accounts or re-enter a tournament that you already played on one site on the other one though.
Both sites will continue to retain their own operations, player management, games, schedules and promotions. We are just sharing player pools in the specific games and tournaments listed above.
The general Terms & Conditions of 888poker will not change; There will be specific Terms & Conditions for the new MTT tournaments added above
The above MTTs are being added to the 888poker nightly schedule, all other tournaments will remain the same for the near future.

So basically the nightly stuff is still the rebuy stuff. No new freeze out tournament with a guarantee. Why couldn't you do a $50 nightly with a 5k guarantee over the rebuy stuff that everyone hates.

The only benefit I see is the sunday tournament increase which is really good.

A lot of people like the rebuys, including me. When do you think all the other mtts will be combined? Maybe in a few weeks? Why not just combine them all?

Are you on T-Mobile? I had the same issue with the s5, called them and they told me the settings to change to make it work and it did.

+1 Why not just merge them all for everything? I mean, they are pretty much there. The mid/higher stakes cash could definitely use a merge.

The reasoning behind this was because most of the midstakes players on both sites to get games running but i think the image of having more tables would be a motivator for more players to come to the site.
