Where I work, customer service is how well he company treats their customers. I was not referring to the customer service representatives, which at my job as well have no idea how things are expected to run.

Anyway, contacted them about this new glitch. I thought at first it could have been my memory card, but the countdown continued, so I don't think that was it:

>I sat down at a cash table and waited for the blinds. When I was finally posted the "away from table" message remained, covering up call and bet options. I had to fold all hands until finally sitting out, closing the table, reopening it. Then, of course I had to repost the BB even though I shouldn't have had to.

Yes, I misunderstood what you meant. I thought you were talking about the reps.

Sorry but this is the USA thread, you will need to post in the ROW thread.

i've only been playing there about a month, but i like 888 far better than party in nj, and i've always gotten issues resolved quickly after contacting support (one full day has been the longest wait). i'm willing to give them the benifit of the doubt for the holiday week (xmas-NYE); hell, i don't really expect anything to get done anywhere during xmas week.

Agree 888 is the best of a weak lot in NJ atm. I've noticed an uptick in their tournament field sizes of late, so maybe people are realizing they are much better than Party/Borg.

Dear 888 Rep,
Back in sync. Thank you 888 Rep. Tickets received.

Question? Is there any way to get additional tickets for the missed tournaments on 1/2/2015 specifically? You have to have noted that only 59 players participated at 7:05 and 111 in the 9:05 Big Freeroll of the week - $2K.

And you have said it was an 888 glitch. Just asking.

I hate to tell you this 888, but your freerolls aren't driving traffic to your site. People bang out a freeroll than split.

You know that people have to earn freeroll tickets through playing raked hands or tourneys, right?

You could try mailing or phoning support and see if they can do anything for you.

Kept getting disconnected tonight. First after sitting at a cash table for two hours I suddenly was no longer in NJ, then during a tourney where I was running like crap, flop a big hand, get bet into, then... disconnected.

Agree. The R&A's on WSOP are excessive. But....... WSOP Bill has stated often that Freeze Outs are not wanted by the players. Hopefully when they combine on Monday we will have the opportunity to continue with at least a few.

http://www.philly.com/philly/busines...2fbf61ac7.html

According to the article, $130K in Tournament Guarantees. It will depend how it is allocated.

They are just sharing the same network, WSOP and 888poker players will just be sharing the same tables.
This we hope will boost traffic and give better opportunities for players.
There will be better prize gurantees which will be more attractive to the players.
Each skin will still be seperate from the other. You will keep your individual rewards etc.
I don't know the full details but it should be a win win situation for all concerned.

ok...so we know that player pools are going to be combined. both sites currently exist with separate tournament schedules. when you combine them, please do not cut tournaments. rather, shift the schedule a bit to accommodate BOTH schedules, which will not be a problem, since both currently exist and hit their respective guarantees.

please please please convince wsop to fix the structure of the 30r and the 11r. both of these tournaments start with WAY too many chips, and the blinds go up way too fast. make rebuys and add ons smaller (3k starting 3k rebuy and 4k add on seem good), and make the rebuy period shorter (60 minutes again would be perfect), and change the blinds from 10 minutes to 12 minutes. this will make for a MUCH better overall structure and you will still hit the guarantee

as for tournaments. combine the schedules, just moving times slightly

6pm: the 606 tourney from 888 is a perfect opener to the nightly schedule, leave it where it is.

6:30 the wsop 11r that is at 6:30 is a pretty boring/bad tournament. change this to something that fits the schedule better and doens't compete directly with the 30r (and will now also compete witht he 888 606). i suggest a $20 freezout, something smaller, and a different format. perhaps a 6m or a knockout

7:00 wsop $30r is great where it is, nightl flagship. leave it alone, just change the structure like i mentioned above

7:30 the 888 high roller usually starts 7:20, but this is too similar to the 30r in buyin, and you want the 30r to draw the most traffic in this hour...so i wouldn't put anything here over a $10 buyin max. wsop runs some smaller stakes tourneys, would just leave those

8:00 start the 888 $100 high roller in this spot. it's a great tourney for those who can no longer reg the $30r (since rebuy period should only be an hour, so should late reg).

8:30 move the wsop $5k $11r up to 8:30. change the structure to match the new structure of the 30r, and you will see this touranment begin to grow.

the late night 888 schedule doens't really have to be touched. i would move the 2nd $2k $100 high roller up a bit, 10:35 is simply too late, starting it at 9:30 would be great and would also help it fit the schedule better and grow.

as an aside, i think that the 30r is honestly a pretty bad tournament. rather than have a rebuy, just have a $120 freezout. you will still easily get >100 runners every night, especially with the combined player pools. Then, you can change the 888 $100 high roller to something like a $75 freezout, and it becomes a great 2nd chance tournament for those that bust the $120. also, making it a freezout allows you tl eave late reg open for 2 hours, this also gives you the opportunity to move the start time up to 6pm possibly. starting the $120 at 6pm and the $80 at 8pm makes the whole schedule flow very nicely

A $40 3k gtd turbo would be nice around 830pm. Also a few more turbos can be added around 1030-11pm which will be good for the late night crew. A lot of the people in my group love turbos and they would fill easily
