why does it keep saying I have been disconnected because another login attempt was made?

Yes I have changed my password and everytime I change it, it still does this.

No my ip or internet connection is not changing.

No, nobody besides myself even know my account exists that live with me or know me.

when will this be fixed?

Is the site down or something? Not a single player playing cash games and I am having trouble with the geo location.

Same. Got kicked off in a hand around 3am and I don't think my money has been put back in my account.

I've had this issue, too, but only a couple of times over the past few weeks.

Not automatically but I did get two (not the four I should have gotten) after talking with a support rep on their live chat. Click on cashier to access it. Email support didn't help. Hope you get yours.

Yes, you have to deposit to get the DC even if there are $$s in your account.

Has this been sorted out for you yet?

If not then can you please send me details of

1. 888poker user name
2. Date and time that the issue happened
3. Tournament ID(s) or Round ID(s)

Thanks!

888 rep, what's the deal?

Also, I have yet to receive my free roll ticket for 5 MTT's in a day.

In fact I played 6.

Do all SnGs count for more tickets or just the ones that have more than one table?

Thanks for staying active on this board and helping out. Another issue in case you guys were not already aware:

the Ipad app works great for me. But he iPhone app, in the same house using the same wifi, has never worked because of geo-location issues. I tuned off the cellular service on the phone and it was just using the same wifi, but it has never worked. Not a big deal, but wanted to pass it along just in case you guys weren't aware already.
Hi njguy,

Don't turn off the cellular service, this is used in tandem with WiFi (if in use) to confirm your location. We are still working with a 3rd party provider to continue to resolve the geo-location issues. Any new developments in this area will be shared in this forum.

Here is my issue. I got my tournament canceled in last weeks server crash. There were 5 players left and 2k in the prize pool. 888nj only gave me back my buyin and 45 dollars for the inconvenience. So I read the tournament policy and it states as follows: Tournament Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to cancel any tournament that is announced, registering, or in a pending state. Tournaments that are in progress that require cancellation due to a variety of possible factors (server issues, widespread connection problems, etc.) will be cancelled, and the prize pool will be divided evenly among all the players that are still in the tournament. Players who are eliminated from the tournament prior to tournament cancellation would remain unaffected, and be ineligible for any prize.

So my question is why wouldn't they split the prize pool. I have tried to ask support but they won't get back to me for 5 going on 6 days now. They said here is your buyin and 45 dollars, case closed. I don't understand how your site will not even follow its own stated policy. The not getting back to me or not answering the question only adds to the aggravation. What kind of @#$% is this. I didn't come right to the forum. I gave them many days to respond.

888Rep -

The customer support for 888 is terrible (not you personally, I'm talking about email support). And it's not necessarily the actual people either for the email support, but the process.

If I email support about an issue, and get a response that is not satisfactory, I learned that my reply to that string of emails gets treated like a new issue and addressed by a completely different customer support representative that provides different responses (and unsatisfactory for other reasons). That makes it sooo inefficient for the total workload for all customer support reps because they have to become familiar with the issues when the first rep should already be somewhat familiar and so frustrating for the customers having to explain the issue every time and getting different substantive responses (but with the same "Thank you for contacting us . . . we apologize . . . . " standard annoying script).

The same person should respond to the issue the second time, and if there is a third time, it should be escalated to someone who knows what they're talking about - not to another incompetent rep.

(RANT: These first impressions that 888 is making on players could have years of impact. Not sure why 888 (and to be fair, at least some/most of the others also) is so short-sighted and skimping on costs (like good customer support) at crucial times like the beginning of this roll-out. This is an example of why NJ casinos are in so much trouble these past few years because they were constantly skimping on costs and then when casinos opened up in nearby states, a lot of people had no reason to continue to be abused anymore. Las Vegas is still thriving today because it invested in its properties so that even where there was competition, people still saw Vegas as something special. NJ casinos never learned that. RANT over.)

It is not really feasable for the same support rep to deal with an issue due to thier shift pattern ie days off - holidays - workload etc as it would cause a huge back log of unsolved issues.
Please forgive us for now as it's a really busy time with this launch as well as other technical advancements ie phone apps etc. Things should calm down soon and get back to normal so please bear with us for now.

Thanks for your feedback njguy, I will send it over for you.

Regards!

Customer service guy tells me I'm all set. I already received my two tickets for my Sunday play. Well, yes, but as I mentioned in my email to support, I also played 5 tourneys on Saturday and didn't get those tickets. I assumed the two tickets were for Saturday and the others were on the way, but no such luck.

So frustrating.
