So I am planning to start playing on 888poker soon on a decent bankroll.

I just read the other thread though about 888poker being a safe heaven for bots and other players in threads complaining about the situation at 888 so I am a bit concerned.

I believe that bots are exploitable but haven't got that much of experience playing against one.

Should I go ahead and make the deposit and not worry too much about the bots, or is it practically impossible to beat them and 888 is full of them ?

Please I would like to hear your thoughts.

I haven't played on 888 for best part of a year but when I was regging low stakes cash games it certainly wasn't that the site was 'full of them' (although it was still disturbing how many could operate for so long before being detected). However, given that the player pool is relatively small and that bots will generally be high volume multi-tabling accounts, it doesn't take many of them being active at say 50nl to ensure that more often than not you'll find at least one at your table.

They're certainly not unbeatable but it is definitively -ev having them in the games as they'll be draining money away from recs and bad regs. They are exploitable by virtue of the fact that they are all excessively aggro. The frequency with which they'll make float bets in position or probe turns is through the roof so one of the simplest exploits you can make is to check a lot of hands to them on the flop that you would otherwise bet for value - they'll happily build the pot for you with all manner of junk. Bluff raising rivers vs them is also pretty effective too as their aggro betting tendencies (they cbet far too much) means they're frequently getting to rivers with weak ranges.

I think you will find that most of them are Russians. I try to avoid them when I play.

We have many possible botters playing and new ones signing constantly. Though nobody seems to care. I have sent info with names to support and only get standard reply. Other regulars dont identify them or dont care?

I first noticed 3 suspicious 50NL players month and half ago, now there are double as much or even more. Maybe they have been here earlier but with other accounts, i just didnt identify them also. Basically they have same stats as shown here on first post. Super agro preflop and high cbets. IMO easisest way to detect them is by watching AFQ by streets, they have lot higher flop and turn AFQ than any other winning player(45+)

I find they are very -ev for the games and should be banned asap.

I thought the arent any bots there. Have anyone a real prof for that cause I'm playing there right now. You cant call bot to anyone who is winning. I have read many articles about their poker suite and about 888 at all.

In many reviews is said that 888 is quite secure gambling option, so can somebody explain more about "bots" there.

It is a proven fact that bots were playing on 888, most of them got banned in 2016 (please read this topic). I am not aware what happened between these dates and how many of them got ban.
I know we have them playing 50nl at least two months now and probably playing lower also. Two months is a bit too long time to identify and ban them!
