I wonder if we'll see some Bots disappear when 888 remove the downgrade option?

This could be interesting.

This was posted on a popular Botting support forum.

Fortunately, 888 is making available a downgrade to version 24 of their poker client, , which is required for our bot to work:

Here is a link to an explanation from the 888 representative:

You should be able to continue to use the bot at 888 as long as version 24 of their poker client remains usable.
888Rep, Lessu, what are your thoughts?

I guess that would be the only positive effect from the new update, but it's just a temporary thing. As the new client could already be used for 2 or 3 weeks, I am sure they are close to make their crap bots work again before 888s upgrade becomes final.

It really sucks to see them playing every day :/ I've played a lot against dadd*wor*s and Vi*olent lately.

Well I looked for similar hands from KOKO and right away found one where he calls down 3/4 pot bets light ish. Probably best we don't analyze these too much on a public forum though, right ?

I took a look at kaji's stats again and I have 150k sample of him and I am 100% sure he is a member of this bot ring.

Update for those who don't follow the main 888 thread.

Bots are still playing even after multiple reports and thorough analysis explaining why these players aren't humans.

888poker either allowing the bots or incompetent interpreting the data reported to them and the data they get from their systems

Thanks for all the hard work leesu.

Absolutely shocking how incompetent/corrupt security departments at these sites are. If it costs money for them (which good security protecting players does) then I guess they are not interested.

        Update

Viiolent, VSmode, daddyworks, gazugazu and kajizragore are now gone. AnimalFairy should be next.

There are 3 others which I've reported but won't name to not alert them as 888 is now finally addressing the problem.

A dozen or so already banned in the past 10 months after first reports. There are at least 6 more that are still active which I've reported 3 weeks ago. There is progress but just very very slow...

Good job Lessu, I, and am sure everyone reading this, really appreciates your hard work. I do not play on scummy/no RB 888 anymore, but bots are worrisome for the whole ecosystem, not just a specific site that is not worthy of your efforts

        Thank you!

So to provide a proper update, here are the already banned accounts. By banned I mean stopped playing as we can't know what has actually happened. Still waiting for answers to what happens to the money if 888 confiscated any. We all know it hasn't returned to the players.

        Closed accounts:

        KOKOKKOLO
        breakingtheW
        kajizragore
        gazugazu
        Viiolent
        daddyworks
        VSmode
        lostinchips
        VneZakona

        Still active:

        AnimalFairy
        EmptyWallett
        dare2allin
        SaintLama
        SmaleePie
        peterx3

There are probably more and anyone who knows how to detect one feel free to post here or PM me and I can take a look and add to my report to 888.

Are bots more prominent on certain sites. I'm lead to believe stars takes major steps to spot stuff like this....or are all sites the same regarding bot activity?

Even Stars didn't detect this bot before players reported them.

I only know players reporting them on stars, party and 888 so I'm guessing ipoker and microgaming are full of them at the moment unless someone is working on it there.
