really appreciate your work Lessu, us players should have a sort of organization to find and fight bots and guys like you should get payed for your work, if at least not from sites who should normally do it and have high interest in it, but at least from us players who also benefit from it hugely.

Hopefully 888 finds it in their heart to give me and the people helping me some nice bonuses at least when it's all done. That said no need for donations as it's definitely not your job to pay for getting the bots banned (my stars SN is same as my 2+2 SN though )

Looking at PTR, many of the bots have stopped playing since my last post here and my email to 888 operations. Let's hope they have finally woken up and we'll get to enjoy bot free games in the future.

Botting and lots of collusion at 100nl 200nl and 300nl

They do a lot of same stuff found in this thread and other botting threads. They're all from Russia, Eastern Europe. A couple of them even had the same location (obscure Eastern Europe small capital).

I didn't even suspect botting when I played (maybe 4 months ago?). I thought something fishy was going (collusion) on so I just stopped playing after numerous emails to the security team.

It wasn't until after I found some botting threads when things started to click. My theory is they got banned from the big sites and they hopped over to other networks with lax security.

Other regs have chimed in with the same opinion.

I sent emails and pm to tigergaming but they just don't care at this point.

KOKOKKOLO crushes me almost every session. Every bluff he almost insta raises like he can see my cards, its really bizarre. Also the timing of all his desicions is almost instantanious. I actually looked up "888 poker bots" because im worried im getting scammed.

Viiolent and AnimalFairy are still playing. I just don't know why they need 10 emails before doing anything so haven't found the energy to email once again about these 2...

Just checked PTR and the 7 out of the 9 accounts haven't played a hand since they stopped which is good.

The bad is that Viiolent and AnimalFairy are still active. I can't say how positive I am about these 2 using the same bot that all the other banned accounts were. I'm hoping that since at least Viiolent chats that they don't think he isn't a bot because of that. Clearly they aren't just bots running in some basement without someone monitoring them...

888, when will you distribute the funds you've confiscated from the 7 banned accounts to the victims of these cheaters?

This is fascinating. There is something we can learn from the bots.
I think their strategy is to bet very aggressively, persistently.
I would be interested in their OOP strategy though.

This thread was started August 19th. Both of the remaining active bots stopped winning around that same date. Did this thread doomswitch them? Did they stop using the bot?

Or just a simple coincidence?

coincidence is possible, but it's also possible that bot users/creators are reading 2+2.

another possibility is, that the players used a (dirty) little helper programme which gave them an edge and botlike stats (didn't read the whole thread, so maybe last thought is pure speculation)

Has their monthly volume gone down too?

EDIT: If they've really only played a 10-20,000 hands in total, the sample size is so small as to be virtually meaningless. Variance gonna variance.

They've played tons more. PTR just doesn't track 888 that much/well.

And I'm not using PTR to make any decisions, just checking when they've been active last.

This tilts me like no tomorrow ; a site of 888's stature simply cannot confiscate the funds, not say a word and pretend like nothing happened This has to stop.

I've been looking over opponents database today, and I found strange that there are so many players who play over 100k hands in a month since there is 6 table cap. So, I checked their stats and so 4 players with basically same preflop and postflop stats. I will post here screenshot of their nicknames with stats with hope that 888 will do something about it.

EDit : They could be from nl30, not from nl50, all hands in my database are mixed from nl20-50

Nice catch. Definitely suspectible.

But unfortunately 888 doesn't care about banning bots. You can email the info to them or to the 888rep with your SN but don't hold your breath that they'll do anything.

Had to register for this; The first two names that you crossed are better bots than the 4 you showed us.

Easily seen by the 70% cbet/20% fold turn and same WWSF as the other bot. Same stats as all the bots banned on other networks+stars scandal.
