Can you explain this? For example i play mttsngs and mtt and when say blinds are 100/200... say someone raises to 400... I would like to reraise it to say 1000. How do i set up a hotkey to 2.5x the initial raise... thus i want to reraise 2.5x their raise. Or if i want to 3x it and make it 1200.

Is there a hotkey for this? I do know if i use a hotkey for 3betting percent of pot, it goes to some strange number. I want to 2.5x or 3x reraise the initial raise. Can i do this with stars hotkey? If so, which option is it because i do not know where it is.

HM1 is no longer allowed as it contains features that are not allowed according to their new 3rd party tools rules.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes

Bit off topic here but since pokerstars are getting all fancy about software detection then why in this day and age are my player notes not saved in the "cloud"

So i take notes on my desktop then play on my laptop and the notes aren't there.

Maybe I'm missing a setting but this seems absolutely ridic in 2016.

You could move the playernotes.xml file into your own cloud directory, or whatever the local folder is called. e.g. Move the file into the OneDrive/DropBox folder on your HD, and make sure the client knows where it's located on both of your computers.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes

Hi there, I have recieved a warning about Odds Oracle in PokerStars, I just didn't check I had Pokerstars open... I've sent a message to PokerStars explaining all this... But they seems just too rigids about punishing me if I got another detection.

I am scare about it because I am just human and could make the same mistake again... How would PokerStars proced to a second detection of a Software like Odds Oracle? I want to know what to expect so maybe I have to make a big cash out and just let the enough money to play there now... Is there a warning system? Something that clears up with the time or something like that? Where can I get all this technical info?

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes

tbh I found it quite surprising even that piosolver wasn't permitted to be open at the same time as the stars client. It takes about four minutes for me to run most basic sims, which is surely far too long to be any use? I guess if you're playing reg tables with a three minute time bank and want to look at river spots then sure... but what is more unusual IMO is that it's not even allowed to be open when the client, but no tables are open. I wanted to send some money the other day but had to wait until my pio script had finished.

An unintended consequence of the rules is that regs are 'encouraged' to use two PCs at once, thus making it even harder for Stars to combat cheating.

Make a video of you twiddling your thumbs imo.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes

Hello guys,

I have a short question.
I was a little bit inactive in the last time and now i have created a new HUD.

Table Groups and Popup Groups partly consist of letters
Is this allowed ?(Pokerstars)

HM2 is still allowed. Any features of it which don't comply to the Pokerstars rules automatically won't work while Pokerstars is open.

kkkk so what is the goal when they say "Hud is not allowed anymore"? If you can still use holdem manager and the other trackers is the same. Ok.. fine

Where do they say that and what is before and after what you quoted? You have to read the entire sentence/section to put what you quoted into context. Certain things can not be displayed in the HUD any longer but the HUD itself is not banned/prohibited.

They were changed/implemented last year. You can find the full doc of all the rules/limitations in the bottom FAQ on this page.

Today I got the pop up, but I grind MTTs on 6 sites. How can I use HEM1 on 4 sites (It doesn't work on one) and not on PS?

Yes, until they remove seat selection. They're unwilling to put in the work to detect/warn/ban users manually and appear to have failed to develop an automated system to do all that.

My understanding is you can't have HM1 open when the stars client is open. They can't tell if you have it configured to work on stars, only that it is open when the stars client is open. So either don't play stars while playing those other sites you use HM1 on, or get a tracker that supports all sites and is allowed by stars.

Just allow a screenname change once a month or once a quarter. Super HUDs don't help anyone on Bovada or Unibet.
