i totally agree with this. Just get rid of the `counting limpers` ability for tn1.
I mean seriously if u want the $ that badly being a tooootal dick about 3rd paty changes, make a tn1 donation service, i`ll gladly send the tn2 annual payment there (pretty sure there are ppl out there feeling the same).
Just do the right thing one time cmon.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes
They stopped updating tn1 like 2 years ago, those guys run a ****ing business ffs. Teh only argument that can be made fir that update is that tn1 originally was sold with "lifetime" updates which was a misleading statement yet is some sort of strong argument to make dat one exception

Hi,
I am sorry to hear you feel this way. Unfortunately we will not be releasing a fix to comply with the new PS TOS.
TN1 users that would like to upgrade to TN2, click here http://www.holdemmanager.com/tn2-upgrade.php

Esp with THIS kind of support to existing customers (TN1 PS 3rd party topic, u forcing ppl to buy ur crappy soft has killed any of my respect for u guys).
U just need to spend 5 minutes surfing internet, and boom. Business guys gonna business lol fkme. I was extremely loyal to TN1 and was ready to send decent $ if only u created any donation service and asked for it to get right fixes, and if u wouldn`t be complete d*cks about this whole PS 3rd party nonsense in ur own self interest showing the true face. Not anymore, good thing u actually forced me to switch to much better products i wasnt aware of now tyvm, i hope others are not gonna be dumb and will do the same.
P.S. I`m sorry ur sorry u made us feel this way. Kappa.

what about LIFE TIME licence to TN1 users?? Was it only marketing trick? Is this the way how you deal with your customers?

^ Assume good faith. If they are no longer able offer what was paid for then I'm sure they will be returning the purchase price you paid. They would have problems with their credit card processors if they acted otherwise.

Thanks but I was advised to check out Table Optimizer and I'm glad I did. Great program and far superior to TN.

Who could have expected a business to use a marketing trick to sell a product?
They offers support for the lifetime of the product, the product is now dead.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes
i notice HEM 2 is allowed and I don't see HEM 1 on the list of banned software so I don't know why I keep getting these popups.
Pokerstars make a deal with HEM so people will upgrade?
https://www.pokerstars.eu/poker/room/prohibited/
What will happen to me if i just keep playing using HEM 1?

Is it correct that I have to delete Pop Up Charts? Like NASH e.g. from my hud?
People are still quite insecure whats forbidden and whats not..

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes
Yeah I stopped the HUD on HEM1 and I'm still getting these popups.
What's the legality of pokerstars scanning your own personal computer for this stuff?

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes
I rather have them scanning my computer and having cheatings russians on my table with all kind of prohibited software.
I am using HM2 and dont get any pop ups with the newest version. They wont ban HUDs in general, they just ban a few functions.. two many colors.. some pop ups etc.

I think your post is quite ignorant.
Just because you spent 100s of hours and thousands of dollars on your own charts and skier's actions caused this stuff to get banned (his team had robot avatars prior to my article, were happy that the community knew they used some mysterious program, since it gave them a psychological edge, but threw a fit once people got upset) doesn't mean I'm an idiot for writing a factual article about a situation that was already exploding.
Plus, once the community learned of the details of the programs they were using, the community did not accept them as fair to use. Stars says they were already planning to act on software. Even if that isn't true, the community knew the facts of Skier's programs far before Stars announced bannings. If the community thought this stuff was OK, they would've said so in this thread and in NVG.
That doesn't make anyone involved a bad person or mean anyone was doing anything wrong, but to call me an idiot because Stars drew the line on the wrong side of your personal material is wrong.
Separate your posting from your own selfish motives and you'll see how much of a baseless attack it is.
Your points about excel charts have some validity, but it has nothing to do with my article or any crusade you've made up about me.

Re: 3rd Party Software on PokerStars: Proposed Rule Changes
Complete ban for tracking softwares? WTF?
Should I buy PT4 as I planned or you think this sanction will be applied soon?
A toal ban of HUD's it's too much IMO.
