They are trying to show precedence by referring to the removal of the WCOOP ticket. Wouldn't the true precedence be the historically gradual changes?

Several of the posts show bigger changes were expected. The relatively small change (removing the WCOOP ticket) thus reinforced the pattern of gradual changes even when expectations are for something more significant.

The fact that a relatively small change met relatively little resistance does not make the whole thing okay.

The russian and AMAYA are happy, so I don't see a problem with the ecosystem.

have the FPPs been converted into stars coins already? i see my balance of fpps has decreased and i see the buy-in into sunday storm is 235 stars coins.

Cliffs: conversion is January 1st, but some are "seeing" the StarCoins a lot earlier. Even .COM is going to be visible December 17th.

Personally, I am looking at Decembe 31st approaching fast and wondering about my current almost-there $10 bonus. I have earned maybe 85% of it but it is likely that by December 31st I will not make it (because I am not a high volume player) so then my FPPs get converted to StarCoins ... okay I get that, but I worry will there NOT be an equivalent cash bonus available to me in the new year? #ClearAsMud


If not, I guess I might have to jump in to stakes 1 or 2 levels higher and short-stack them in order to earn more FPPs. It's not like I will be risking my stack very often anyway, since [grumble]even at the lowest stakes there's rarely a huge-bb pot ever since so many nits are terrified to get their stacks in the middle without the nuts. #StarsRockGardenFTL [/grumble]

I feel your pain. As a multiple time SNE, I remember having to grind all hours during December in order not to miss out on an additional $45,000 of value. Albeit you will only lose about $2 in value if you're forced to convert to Star Coins but it sounds like the pressure and stress is about the same.

Well i thought that was fairly climactic and controversial, so either you and i have a different perspective of what an anti-climax is or you were being sarcastic and actually have faith that the new stars promotional changes are going to be very climactic. I'm opting to guess the latter since I think that makes more sense, as there are promises for some HUGE marketing changes next year and this has been made clear by every insider at Stars including Daniel Negreanu, Eric Hollreiser, Matthew Hilger, Lee Jones etc.. I just can't wait to see what they bring to the tables and just how they opt to inject new ingenuity and creativity to the client.

Also, talking of words beginning with the prefix "anti-", I dislike how you're continually anti-promoting Pokerstars, a site that remains the most popular, most competitive site in the poker industry even despite the recent changes they have made. I feel like this is just the beginning, the dawn of a new era of more exciting, more ingenious poker that will target and ultimately reach a wider audience and stretch this iconic game beyond what was thought of being possible or imaginable. I'm ready for 2016, bring it on Stars!

• SN x3 = 300k VPPs
• Rake rate = 5.5 VPPs per $1 paid in rake
• RB cap = 30%

So, (300000 / 5.5) * 0.3 = ~$16.4k

Am I missing something?
