I have been a silver star for years, I play nearly everyday, I get all Pokerstars emails(I think) and not getting notification of changes this large is a disgrace and an insult to Pokerstars customers. If I didn't frequent this forum I would not have known about the rake increase. I'm a little upset about this and feel a bit scammed.

Just checked the rake on the spin and goes. The 3 dollar game has gone from an absurd 0.18c per game to 0.24c. 6% was very steep to begin with, 8% on a 3 man hyper, c'mon stars, get real.

Bronze here because I accudentally played high for promos and got to Silverstar the previous month so couldn't hit any steps #lol

The way VIP chnages and promos are going the last 6 months is SO HIT-AND-MISS. Card Hunt and million dollar freeroll awesome, most everything else has been lolterribad.

Can someone tell me how many star coins I get if I reach goldstar when I'm at silverstar status, opposed to reaching goldstar (for the following month) when I'm already at goldstar status? Is there a big difference?

I'd buy tournament tickets everytime if they were discounted. Why would I buy tournament tickets if you offer cash at the same rate?

and this is all the time. Tourney players= excluded from promo value and ultimately = less rake back. And after waiting for the stupid card hunt to expire, cuz I don't play cash, the next promo is a cash game card hunt again. LAME if ur a tourney grinder. Just saying. No love. We pay the same rake for the same VIP levels and steps, and should be better included. And the 'giveaway' promo... don't even get me laughing about what a waste that turned out to be..

Well the whole point of promos is to make the site more money - I don't think they would run if Stars was losing money from them. So that point's kind of arbitrary really

Okay, is this steps thing supposed to be buggy? I am supposedly now on step 11 of 30 in the goldstar-to-platinumstar steps, and I haven't seen a single starscoin hit my account since the 1000 I got for the last silverstar step.

The bar has been 97% gold to empty to 98%gold to empty etc several times, in the mean time while empty it showed I was on step 0 and had 25 more steps to go or something like that, and now it says 83% complete and step 11 of 30 and 20 steps to go.

Okay. If so, where are my starscoin?

Depending on which Step you finish your month on, 22-25% in rewards on rake paid.
