1. Are there 2 types of hyper turbos? I know the one that are satellites to the sunday million are the ones george lind III plays. I think they only run on the weekends? The other is the hyper turbo i see on sng lobby but those are different blind structure
2. Whats a good ROI for these? I read George Lind says for his 1% is very good. It was a post i read awhile back. But what about the other hyper turbos on the sng lobby? I know the structure for that one is a bit slower.
3. I see there was a player that hit SNE in less than one month playing hyper turbos! I see there are $500 hyperturbos which is pretty high. Whats a bankroll that is needed for this? I know this has the most variance . For sngs, 100 buyins is normally enough but I assume a top player in these could drop 50 buyins really quick? What would be considered a normal downswing for these?
4. I know for ppl who grind sngs and fifty/50s... you could probably do 40 if you like. But for hyperturbos... Im curious how much could one play where its not too much? Like those top players at it... what would be considered the sweet spot?
5. Do the majority of those who make SNE even profit from playing these hyper turbos?
1. yes there are two diff structures
2. good roi is dependent on the person, whatever they feel is a "good roi". people can make all sorts of claims but its a young game. in general i think 4% 3% 2% 1% 0% for 7-15, 30, 60, 100, 200+ is good [for 25bb hypers], but that is a loose estimate and built around expectations. its certainly possible for someone really determined, to have a winrate higher than anyone else's current winrate or expectations, if they studied really really hard.
3. i think one player will get 85% of an sne in a month by the end of this month, and also jorj95 did get an sne in one month. BR depends on what risk of ruin you want to tolerate and your winrate, but typically 300bi is a bit more than reasonable. for higher stakes, 300bi is "alright." the last 1500 games I played i ran 300bi below ev, so 300bi is certainly not that much.
4. i would say 20 tabling 6m 25bb hypers is equal to about 50 tabling 180s in terms of difficulty, if that helps. i think a comfortable pace for an experienced pro that knows most decisions down pat and wants to think through some decisions, would be about 12 tabling.
5. maybe. you mean pre rakeback? it depends on the player and their goals. i would say, speaking in post-rb terms and in EV, that most known regs are doing just 'alright' at hyper turbos. like all poker eco-systems you have breakeven regs, good regs, and great regs in a pyramid.
