Hey Steve ,quick question on Porsche Cayman S...

Each country will have very different prices ...e.g buying it in Canada may be a lot cheaper than here in the U.K

So does Pokerstars get you the car no matter what ?...and if they don't is that not false advertising ?

It is pretty well known advert and PS have made a big deal in the past that you can buy a Porsche if you have 3.1 million FPPs,so surely that is not fair if you can't ?

Also no more PokerStars VIP Relationship Coordinator?

Any reason why ?..no more nights out I guess

pretty sure they buy it in USA or wherever(not sure) and then you pay all fees/customs cost and stuff associated with shipping

So you might end up with a LHD car where we drive on the left side of the road? (or vice versa depending on where they buy it)

After you sign the purchase agreement, they wire a set amount (~$60k USD) to the dealer and you cover the rest.

demetri1978,

99.9% sure you get $60,000 USD wired to a Porsche dealership. You are responsible for the difference.

I do believe that if you buy a model that costs more than $60,000 USD you can continue to redeem FPP at $0.02 to pay for the rest of it.

As of mid-2012 -

3 million fpps = US base price of Porsche Cayman S [which was then $62.1k but is now/soon will be $63.8k - largeish increase is due to the new model being released]. You can buy any new Porsche with this, subject to the 3m fpp minimum, and if you spend more you can make it up at the same rate. Money will be wired to the dealership, check that's ok with them before agreeing to buy the car. There's a rule along the lines of "if the base price in your country is over $100k US then you can use the offer for a 2nd hand Porsche instead".

This sounds a lot better than what I thought, almost tempts me

From looking at the highscore list on the site so many people have enormous amounts of vpp already, pretty sick. Is january always this high volume for most people?
